Almost a year ago to this day, I had my first panic attack of many more to come. A few weeks later I was diagnosed with panic disorder. A common side effect of panic disorder is de-personalisation de-realisation disorder (DPDR), which makes you feel like you are completely detached from your body, like seeing the world through a foggy, dreamlike lens. It’s hard to describe how horrible it was. After a month of panic attacks and feeling trapped in a hellish reality, I found myself humming the melody of the chorus to IT’S NOT REAL! at the beach. I think I smiled for the first time since panic disorder started. I walked back home, phone in hand, recording voice memos all the way back. I remember dancing and jumping around the kitchen coming up with the lyrics. I practically locked myself in my room for 2 days until I had finished the song. I realised that, while I was making it, I stopped worrying about my state and focused only on capturing exactly what I was feeling. The absurdity, tragedy and irony of it all. And it saved my life. I hope you love this song as much as I do. Making it reminded me that music is my lifeline, a need akin to breathing (especially when she’s go-o-oo-ne) by @pablovalley

CHARDONNAY. MY FIRST SINGLE IS OUT NOW!!! 🍾

Finally 🥹 It’s been a tough year and thank god i have a laptop, a mic and a closet to record my feelings into. I wrote this song at 2am sometime in december - like sitting at a confessional, i had to purge my mind of some ghosts and finally set them free.🍷Sometimes we follow the path of least resistance and keep corpses that rot inside us because we think they define us.

This is my first confession to you.
Forgive me for my sins.
And let us leave the waiting room unscathed.
