September was a month of showing up — we gave, we danced, we learned, we organized, and we took care of each other. Here’s how it looked from inside the center! 📸❤️

1. PACC welcomed El-Funoun Dabka as the first stop on their 3rd annual USA Tawasol Tour, bringing a piece of Palestine’s heritage across our own floor.
2. Our SJP & Activism Organizing Retreat gave student activists a space to swap lessons from their campuses and build a clearer sense of how PACC can stand behind their work.
3. 110 people packed PACC to hear author Abdelhamid Siyam on his field experience in UN missions at our book launch for Walking Through Minefields.
4. Our How to Run for Local Office event sparked real conversations about what it would take for our community to step into leadership and build civic power.
5. Fifty people turned strangers into friends over coffee and good company at Coffee, Mocktails & Connections.
6. More than 65 community members picked up supplies, uniforms, and backpacks at our Back to School Mutual Aid Drive.
7. Our Executive Director joined a national education collective in Sonoma, CA, representing PACC and Palestinians on the national table.
8. We honored the refugees lost and survivors artist, Said Elatab at our Sabra & Shatila Remembrance.
9. A small group set out to Saaboon Maazeh to source fresh mlokhia together on our Mlokhia Trip.
10. We welcomed Mohammed Assaf for a visit at PACC, with a performance from our Arabic program students.
11. Thirty people joined cooking, dabka, storytime, and Arabic classes at our PACC Family Day.
12. 50+ community members enjoyed a fun, educational Arabic children’s show at the Adam wa Mishmish Live Show.
13. Fifty women gathered through traditional songs and stories at our Women’s Brunch and Folklore Workshop.
14. Our Palestine Education Newsletter this month focused on recentering Palestinians and resisting silencing in favor of genuine justice.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported our programs, and helped make PACC a place where our community can come together and thrive. ❤️

NEW JERSEY, get ready to see the performance of a lifetime! Palestinian singer Aya Khalaf will be making a stop here on her debut US Benefit Tour!

Aya’s music is deeply Palestinian, rooted in preserving the songs and stories that have been passed down generation after generation.

Cultural and artistic resistance is the beating heart of our people. From Palestine to across the entire diaspora, Palestinian art is emblematic of our rich culture and steadfastness in the face of erasure and violence.

The erasure of Palestinians from mainstream conversation is not a coincidence. Coverage has thinned, algorithms suppress Palestinian voices, and at least 240 journalists and media workers have been killed since the genocide began. Palestinians are not a footnote to a headline, and aid cannot substitute for justice, reparations, and the right of return.
