We’re excited to introduce you to the Barry M. and Jackie Gosin Center for Equity and Inclusion at Pace University!

Meet Jah Davis (she/her), Senior Director of Outreach and Opportunity for the Division of Opportunity and Institutional Excellence (DOIE).

Jah leads the strategic vision and implementation of initiatives at the Gosin Center that expand access, strengthen community, and connect students, faculty, and staff to meaningful opportunities across the university and beyond. Her work spans student engagement, faculty and staff development, and cross-campus collaboration.

She facilitates Table Talks, creating space for critical dialogue and reflection, convenes and partners with the Gosin Center’s Advisory Board, and oversees the STRIDE program, supporting staff development and residencies in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Through this work, Jah is focused on building sustainable systems that center belonging, opportunity, and impact.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in student engagement, event planning, outreach, and communications while supporting meaningful initiatives across the Pace community.

Anddddd that’s a wrap!!! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Black Excellence Dinner on Monday night. It was mine and Sarah’s last time hosting a BSU event as we approach graduation and close out the semester!
This club has meant a lot to us since our very first semester on campus and we’ve gone to the meetings and event ever since. We’re so glad that we got to join the e-board before our time came to an end. Work like this is very important to us.
The event was a great success, we spent time celebrating a range of achievements and connecting with each attendee. It’s been an honor to take on this role even through the difficulties, hosting events and connection with you all is something we want to celebrate as well and one of our biggest achievements this year. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors and continue to celebrate yourselves no matter how small the effort! 🫶🏽
