Snow in October? Now that’s one way to kick off a running race 😂❄️

First time shooting the Wandering Moose last weekend, and what a day it was! Here are a few of my favourite shots from the event 📸

White trail. Grey sky.

Every step a small argument with quitting.

No one won it easily.

Everyone who went out won it anyway.

Our dear friend and PACE run leader @gromitandthegriff takes having fun very seriously. And more often than not, that involves a costume. 😂

We’ve lost count of the number of themes and characters she’s brought to life at PACE events over the years, but this one might just be one of our favourites.

After all, we think it’s pretty important that everyone goes home from Wandering Moose with at least one moose sighting. 🫎

Thanks for always bringing the fun, the laughs and a whole lot of personality to our events. ❤️

What a WILD start to this year’s Wandering Moose! ❄️

We’re pretty sure we broke every previous Wandering Moose weather and temperature record yesterday. Of all the things we expected for race day, winter wasn’t exactly on the list!

But we couldn’t have asked for a better community to show up, embrace the unexpected and turn it into something pretty special.

Our racers? Barely fazed. If anything, the attitude was more along the lines of, “BRING IT ON!” And bring it on they did!

And our volunteers? WOW. Every single team rallied, adapted, looked after each other and took incredible care of our racers. What could have been a pretty challenging day turned into one of the most memorable Wandering Moose events yet, and that’s because of the people who made it happen.

On behalf of our entire PACE team, THANK YOU to everyone who chose to put Wandering Moose on their race calendar this year, to our incredible volunteers who gave so much of themselves, and to our amazing partners who continue to show up and support what we do.

Yesterday was a pretty great reminder that it’s not always about perfect conditions. It’s about the people you share the experience with, the attitude you bring and the memories you make along the way.

Positive Attitude Changes Everything. And yesterday, you all proved it.

So much gratitude for this community. ❤️
