Wrapped up our post-London time in Scotland with two fun road trips - one to Oban and one to St. Andrews. Made a stop in the Admissions Office to say “Hello” from Pace. Of course, they remember @just.jrf like it was yesterday 🤩 and asked O to fill out an interest form (😂)! What a great trip. Truly the luckiest mama to be able to travel with O and watch him soak in time with family, and explore a place that has become home from home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Back in the ATL now and adjusting to the heat. 🥵 by @paceyorself

We spent five days on the road 🚊🚊(@avantiwestcoast) with three days full in London having a blast at some incredible museums and eating the best plant-based food in the world! Little Big Man and I travelled down to the southern most point of Scotland today. The Mull of Galloway did not disappoint, with its rugged cliffs and terrific winds! 💨💨 Lighthouse💡 built in the 1830’s by Scottish engineer Robert Stevenson (grandson Robert Lewis Stevenson, Treasure Island etc.) by @paceyorself

Great summer day in Scotland again - wee bit of a heat wave I’d say! 🌡️Travelled up to Holy Loch, a stunning stretch of water with layers of history, from Saint Munn in the 6th century to its time as a WWII and Cold War submarine base for the USA. Nearby, Loch Fyne rolls on as Scotland’s longest sea loch, linking into the Sound of Jura via the Crinan Canal. Calm waters, deep history, perfect west coast day. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿📸⛴️😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 by @paceyorself

Today, this guy started high school! Unbelievable and wonderful all at the same time. I’m so grateful for all the teachers, mentors and coaches who have gone above and beyond to guide him this far, and looking forward to all the wonderful opportunities he will encounter, and genuine relationships he will build, over the next four years. by @paceyorself

Some things we’ve been up to since getting back from the Borderlands … exploring the hills up behind Largs and Skelmorlie (I didn’t think I would make it back to the car!); catching the Wymess Bay ferry out to Bute for a lovely beach day and island drive; and exploring Culzean Castle and grounds (the Scots gifted the top floor of the Castle to President Eisenhower after WWII as a thank you for his war efforts - he visited a few times and the Castle has a replica of his study on display). Looking forward to our last couple of days here before heading home to ATL. by @paceyorself
