Gracias Vida, gracias Pachamama 🌿

Y recibimos y recibimos 🙌🏽

Momentos convertidos en regalos 🎁
Volvimos a Colorado ☀️
A Palisade 🍑
Creamos nuevas conexiones 🧠
Algunas dulces como la miel 🍯
Otras muy tiernas 🐐 🦙

Los abrazo desde mi corazón 🪄
Deseando que tengan un Feliz fin de año 🎊

Animals help me ground 💚

I have become an amateurish milking goats🐐
Goats are smart creatures.
And I just enjoy being around them
Thank you Pachamama 🤲🏽. #pachamama_projects #colorado #palisade #peachfestival #morethantreesanddirt #goat #goatmilk by @pachamama_projects

It was a a cute day today 🦙

Thanks to @sco_alpacas for letting us witness the aplaca shearing 💚
The wool will be used for winter hats, mittens, scarfs 🧣
And the alpacas are ready for summer time ☀️

Gracias Pachamama 🤲🏽

Many times when we think of nature our minds takes us to a forest, to a mountain, river or ocean, but rarely to a desert 🏜️

The desert has bloomed 🌵🌸
And life in it is easier to see in our human 👁️

Get your kids/pets out in nature 🤩
Gift yourself that joy💚

Its sound is like a heartbeat 💚

It’s Pachamama 🌏

And the Valley I live in, it’s full of pink flowers 🌸

That will later become 🍑 🍑

PALISADE is known for having some of the best peaches in the US.

Hello Pachamama lovers 💚

This post is to say hi after a while 👋🏽

And to remind ourselves that life is as beautiful as it is fragile 🪺

And that no matter what path we take in life, we should walk gently 🐸 or hop

Causing the least amount of harm, loving the most our hearts can 🫶🏽

Dragonfly.

During one of our visits to the River this fall, a dragonfly landed on me. I was surprised and happy about it, we hanged out for so long that I even had time to make a video of it to share.

Dragonflies and humans have in common that we both develop in a water environment and then merge to the earth to live life.

The meaning of this insect invites to live fully and embrace changes, it is good to change and make the best of yourself everyday.

Have a great end of the year 💚

A few days ago I felt like I had a gift from fall 🎁

MAYFLIES 🍁

We went to the river and thousands of insects were flying all over the place.

It’s a flying insect I had never seen 🔍

Well, they live in a larvae state in the water for a year till they reach adulthood
🐛

And in adult life mayflies have a metamorphosys to this moth/dragonfly looking insect that lasts only 3️⃣6️⃣ HOURS maximum
😮
No wonder I hadn’t seen it before‼️

✅ their adulthood has only 2 purposes: copulate and lay eggs 🥚
✅ they are only seen flying around in fall and spring for 1️⃣ day
✅ their presence means the river/lake is clean or uncontaminated 🤩

Gracias Pachamama 💚

It’s amazing what you can witness in nature!

A family hike turned into an experience of a lot of emotions. 😵😭☺️

A lizard 🦎 got eaten by the snake 🐍 in front of us!

It’s the cycle of life, some endings are rough and that is ok, sometimes you are the winner, sometimes others win!

Life is beautiful 💚

Horse salute 🥰

These gentle animals saw me staring at them and they approached….I guess to say hi and get a pat 👋🏽🐴

Pray Mantis 🙏🏽

Such a cute bug 🫶🏽

It has a life span of 1️⃣ year.

It’s directly related to termites and 🪳

They lay 🥚 in spring and hatch in fall 🍂

After copulation the female eats the male 🍽
