ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: O.T

Rooted in the deep, dark basslines of early 2000s UK bass music, O.T draws inspiration from the Sheffield bassline scene, old-school dubstep, and UK garage sounds that defined the underground movement. His sets journey from atmospheric depths to high-energy peaks, specializing in bringing gritty, underground textures forward into the modern era. Expect both the darker, intricate side of UK bass and the euphoric jump-up moments that make crowds move. by @pacificbreaks_

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: WIWA

WIWA is a multidisciplinary artist who’s never been able to stick to just one medium. That creative restlessness naturally led her to mixing, where sound became another form of expression—fluid, textural, and always evolving. She’s drawn to a wide spectrum of genres, from deep house to hardgroove, breaks to bass, and is constantly exploring the points where they intersect and collide. Never really knowing what she’ll play until she steps up to the decks, her sets are shaped by the energy of the room and a drive to blend contrast into cohesion. Through sound, WIWA invites listeners into her world—curious, fun, and potentially unpredictable. by @pacificbreaks_

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Zoltan

Hailing from Vancouver but now based in Toronto, Zoltan is not afraid to shock ravers and promoters alike with his eclectic style of bassy song selection. While staying true to Toronto’s rich tradition of drum and bass, jungle and UK garage, Zoltan brings a distinct multi-genre flavour to his sets: pulling from hip-hop, Brazilian funk, and whatever other grooves find their way on his USB on that particular day. Tired of the culture’s uncompromising purism, Zoltan represents an emerging youth in the scene that rejects categories and embraces chaos. Although Zoltan’s music journey is still in its infancy, he has already played alongside international heavyweights like T & Sugah, Marcus Visionary, and Stranjah. In the future, he looks forward to playing his debut festival set at Northern Vibe in late August and continuing to make waves within Toronto’s thriving bass music scene. by @pacificbreaks_
