I truly could not have imagined a better elective rotation to prepare me for my future career as a Dermatology PA🤍

Over the past several weeks, I gained hands-on experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology through full-body skin exams, inpatient consults, shave and punch biopsies, cryotherapy, intralesional Kenalog injections, cyst excisions, surgical closures, Mohs surgery, dermatoscopy, as well as cosmetic procedures including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Sculptra, and laser treatments.

This experience has strengthened my clinical skills, procedural confidence, and passion for dermatology, while reinforcing that this is exactly where I am meant to be. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to carry these experiences into my future career as a Dermatology PA.

Now time to finish my clinical year with one rotation left and I am definitely ending it with a bang… trauma surgery!🚨🚑🩺 taken in Greater Miami Skin & Laser Center by @pacinprogress

such a great opportunity joining the most recent @fsdpa journal club. It was great to connect with dermatology PAs and students interested in dermatology, learn from one another, and grow as I work toward my career in dermatology!

This journal club focused on inflammatory skin diseases and the role of immunological signatures in providing more targeted, individualized patient care. A great topic to learn about for both my future patients and the future of dermatology!💙
