Please give a warm welcome to our new Director!

My name is Ashwin Mundra and I am excited to be the new Colorguard Director of the Power Sound of The South. I went to Millbrook HS where in the fall, I marched as a wind player for 4 years, I also participated in their Winterguard for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Outside of HS I marched with CVP in 2017, Madison Scouts in 2018, First Flight in 2018-2020, and NC State Pack Guard from 2018-2022. I recently came out of retirement to spin with Assembly Line Winterguard in 2025 and stayed for their 40th anniversary production in 2026. I have been teaching at Apex Friendship since the fall of 2019, and have acted as co-director of the Colorguard since 2024. Aside from Colorguard, I am a Realtor with Century 21 Triangle Group and love assisting anyone in need of Real Estate advice or expertise. I am also a proud alumni of NCSU, graduating with my B.S. in Biochemistry and Human Biology in 2022, as well as receiving my M.S. in Physiology in 2025. I look forward to helping this program grow, and am so grateful to be back with the Wolfpack! by @packguard
