PACKY DOHERTY’S SHARPSHOOTING LEADS SCRANTON PREP TO IMPRESSIVE ROAD WIN!

With a weekend off from league play, Scranton Prep hit the road for yet another non-league challenge.

Packy Doherty’s latest accurate shooting game made sure the Cavaliers came back from Allentown with an impressive victory.

Doherty was 7-for-11 from long distance while scoring 35 points, 26 of which came in the first half of a 91-71 win over Executive Education Charter Academy Saturday afternoon.

Executive Ed had lost just twice before bringing Scranton Prep to its gym.

Doherty also contributed five rebounds, an assist and a steal. He finished the week with 89 points in three games as his season average crept toward 23 per game. by @packydoherty

2026 6’2” CG | Wesleyan commit | Full Court Philly HGSL 17U

The Scranton Prep senior led the way Friday night when the Cavaliers handed Valley View its first loss of the season, 67-54, in a key Lackawanna League Division 1 game.

Doherty finished with 28 points, his sixth 20-plus scoring effort in the last seven games. The Wesleyan University commit is averaging 21.9 points during that stretch and 21.3 on the season.

Scranton Prep took the lead in the second quarter with the help of 10 points from Doherty.

Doherty then helped put the Cougars away with two of his four 3-pointers and 13 points in the fourth quarter.

Scranton Prep is 4-0 in the division, 8-2 overall, unbeaten within the confines of District 2 and on a seven-game winning streak. taken in Scranton Preparatory School by @packydoherty
