My #bloomlanetee by @ronjahakalehto is off the needles and showing itself off in the garden. It’s such a pretty summer project! Mine is made in @bcgarn Allino from @makermaker_store in Beige, Copper and Anthracite. This was my first time making a just released pattern. It’s well written and easy to follow.

I still have three colourwork projects on the needles. The #bloomlanetee is one of them. It’s a lovely design and a fun pattern by @ronjahakalehto. It looks a bit odd at the moment because some colourwork like the stems is added in later. I’m knitting mine in @bcgarn Allino from @makermaker_store. Don’t put your knitting down just because it’s warming up in Australia. There are so many wonderful tee and tank top patterns to choose from and gorgeous yarns in cotton, linen and silk from a range of yarn makers. I’m still finishing off my winter WIPs even though I’ve cast on the summer handknits. I’ll probably have a scarf or beanie project on the needles through the summer anyway to give my hands a rest from knitting with cotton, silk and linen blends. Life is better in pink! My newly finished #jejusweater Slipover by @aegyoknit will most likely only get this one wear today. We have leapt into summer here in Australia completely jumping Slipover season. This is knit in @circustonichandmade Handmade Merino Possum Woollen Spun in Thyme Pink Bells and Wattle from @yarntrader. I wanted a very low contrast for the argyle, not sure if it’s too low contrast but I like the combination of colours. taken in Tamworth, New South Wales by @paddockandpurl

I’ve reached for my #heimathefenaweater by @lilalu72 almost every day this week. The @kokonyarn merino linen from @handmakecreate is so light. Making the most of this gorgeous handknit sweater because it’s warming up way too fast here in rural NSW! by @paddockandpurl

It’s my #colourwork era. Knitting progress on my #harrietsweater by @leneholmesamsoe. Very well written pattern and really super fun to knit. @isageryarn Tweed and Silk Mohair from @thelittleyarnstore. I probably won’t get to wear this #handmadesweater until next winter but I’ll look forward to getting it out on the first cold day of 2027! by @paddockandpurl

I have four colourwork projects on the needles ATM. This little #islashawl is one of them. The pattern is from @bichesetbuches and I’m working it with their Le Petite Lambswool from @thelittleyarnstore and @fyberspates Cumulus from @yarntrader. I finished my #moonsetpolo by @ozetta. Her patterns are so well written, they are a pleasure to knit. I found the neck a bit wide on mine and it tended to fall off my shoulders so I added some buttons I had. The yarn is @dererumnatura Ulysse and Berenice in the shades Quartz and Avoine from @thelittleyarnstore. Very soft and drapey. Do you like music added to posts or do you find them annoying and turn them off? I’m never sure whether to add it or not. taken in Tamworth, New South Wales by @paddockandpurl
