There are a few goals I have in my life and career. Making a music video has been one of them since I was a teenager.

I had no idea that a chance encounter with @mikecyrilmusic while I was on holiday in Tuscany would lead me back a few months later to make a music video with him.

Mike’s music is beautiful and soulful, with a haunting quality. This song, in particular, is about the transience of life. I must have heard it over 100 times now, and it still stops me in my tracks every time.

Mike currently lives in Lucca, Italy, which provided the perfect backdrop for the story. But the most special element was finding two people to star as the couple in love in the video.

I hoped Mike might find two people in a local dance class with some chemistry, but we found something even better. Barry and Andy are a couple who have been together so long that they seem almost like one person. They share a love that radiates to those around them. Not only that, but they also have a background in stage performance. In a word: perfect.

The icing on the cake was working with the magnificent @paddymcgowan . His experience and talent truly brought the vision to life.

I can’t describe how magical the few days I spent working on this in Lucca were. It truly felt like a dream.
