A LITTLE WORD ABOUT PADGEDEX…

We know that card shows can be a bit intimidating.

There are loads of vendors, loads of people who know a LOT about Pokémon, and sometimes it can feel like you need to know your Charizard from your Caterpie before you even approach a table. 😂

You don't.

Padgedex started out with a little car boot table, a few cards and a big love for Pokémon.

Since then, we've somehow gone from that little table to multiple displays, binders full of cards, slabs, sealed products and a whole lot more Pokémon than we probably need in our house. 😂

But one thing hasn't changed, we're still just collectors who love talking cards and meeting other collectors. ❤️

Whether you're a long time collector, completely new to the hobby, buying your first card, selling a collection or just fancy having a rummage through some cards, come and say hello.

We also know that people like to have a little stalk of vendors before a show 👀

So we've made this post for exactly that.

👇 If you've dealt with Padgedex before, we'd LOVE for you to leave us a little review in the comments.

Bought something from us?
Sold us some cards?
Had a chat at a show?
Won something from our lucky dip?
Just thought we were alright? 😂

Tell people what you thought!

It doesn't need to be an essay, even a couple of words helps.

We want this comment section to become a little collection of experiences from the people we've met along the way, so anyone who's thinking about coming to see us can get a feel for who we are and what we're like to deal with.

We're incredibly grateful for how far Padgedex has come, and especially for everyone who's supported us since those early car boot days. ❤️

So if you've met us along the way, leave us a little review below. 👇

And if you're heading to a show where we're trading…

Just a few of the lovely interactions we have had recently <3

We love seeing people's collections and finding out more about what everyone loves within the hobby. It's the most diverse thing we have known and everyone has their own little likes and EVERY Pokémon is appreciated by someone!

We also really do mean it when we ask if you can come back and show us if you managed to get the card you were after or finished the set you asked about. More than anything else, it's the people we spend all weekend talking to and having fun with that makes this the best use of our spare time.

Please also bear with us whilst we work out the ins and outs of editing, sorting the audio etc! It's very much a learn on the go type of gig!

Thanks again to everyone who has come to our tables over this last 8 or so months <3 by @padgedex

The Card Expo is one of our favourite shows to come to for so many reasons. It was the first 'big show' that gave us a chance when we had just started out and we are so grateful.

Yesterday was a lovely day! Thank you to everyone that came to our table and had a chat, we have so many card fest friends, i love it. The amount of times someone said "I've brought this for Bella" 😭.

Thank you so much to Tom @mrmagenta_ for the gorgeous personalised cross stitch, theyre so kind and thoughtful.

I like to tag people after a show day that have made it special but honestly there's so many to tag, itll exceed the character limit.

So just a big thanks to Emily and Chris for being sick hosts and for putting on a card show thats a chuffing day out both for the customers but for the vendors as well. See you at the next one guys 🫶 by @padgedex
