Grateful to all our donors who contributed towards relief efforts for the flood affected villages in Odisha. Our wonderful partners on the field - NYP Odisha and Sparsha - have not only distributed the pads but also trained the women on their usage and hygiene.

The floods in Odisha have taken away a lot from the people there. So many of you responded to our appeal for help and we all came together to stand for and with the women of Odisha by giving them 100% bio degradable cotton sanitary pads. Pad Squad along with our donors and on ground associates - NYP Odisha and Sparsha, were able to reach out to a 400 women across Bhogari, Baliapal, Nabara and Jajpur districts.
Not only were sanitary pads distributed, but also women were educated on menstrual health and hygiene.
Truly grateful 🙏🏻

In the Assamese village of Nazira, we visited a girls' school. We gave 100% biodegradable cotton pads and dignity kits to the beautiful adolescent girls studying there. To the younger ones who still hadn't started their period, we gave dignity packs. It was good to see the girls smiling despite the trauma they'd been through. Their innocence and humility really stole our hearts.
Thank you to everyone who supported us and a huge shoutout to our on-ground partner team led by Monuj da.

Today was a day of gratitude - for the people we met, the stories we heard, the resilience we saw, for the people we collaborated with and for all of you who sent us your love via the donations and positive vibes.
There's much more to be done we're getting there one step at a time.

We travelled to a few villages in Assam which were most affected by the devastating floods. The greenery we saw on the way was so deceptive... Paddy has been recently sowed despite the sand (which sits on top of the fertile soil) brought in by the flooded rivers. The farmers don't know if it will yield rice but there's desperate hope that it will. And we hope so too.
Here are a few pics from our distribution. A heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated these pads and dignity kits and to those, who wished us well. Thank you.

All Eyes on Odisha!

Odisha is being ravaged by floods as we speak. The situation has not been in the media as much as it should have been. Today nearly 7.85 lakh people in Odisha need our attention! They need our help! On one hand while people are being evacuated from some areas, others are rebuilding their lives after the devastating floods. The rivers continue to swell.

While food, shelter and clean drinking water are certainly the need of the hour, let's not overlook menstrual hygiene for women, because Periods don't stop when life has been disrupted.

You rose with us for Assam, and together we are helping thousands of women.

Let’s stand UNITED FOR ODISHA.

One packet of 12, 100% cotton biodegradable pads costs Rs. 100/-

We are now also sending Underwear for the women in Assam. We realised that they have lost everything in the floods. What good are pads if they don't have underwear. Can we all help them? It's only 150 Rs for a pack for 3 cotton Underwears.

Please donate.
