Bumped into this yard sale on my way to do some errands. Nadaanan ko lang talaga kaya napahinto ako. I got to meet the owner, pero bawal mag-picture sa loob which I guess makes it more interesting. 😂 Baka kailangan niyo talagang puntahan para makita kung ano meron.

Maraming good stuff inside, lalo na kung collector ka. Mostly from the ’70s to late ’80s, so may mga old-school and political memorabilia din. If you’re into collecting pieces from that era, baka may mga interesting finds kayo.

Puntahan niyo na lang and explore! 👀

Bukod sa well-connected at maayos na bike lanes, napapansin din ngayon ang Marikina dahil sa kanilang flood control project, na naging effective in managing the recent flooding nitong mga nakaraang linggo.

Almost 27 km ang Marikina River, mula Rodriguez hanggang Pasig, at halos 8 km na ang flood wall ang natapos. Funded by JICA ang project at Toyo Construction naman ang contractors.

Mula Tumana hanggang Marikina bayan, bikeable at walkable na. Marami nang naglalakad, nagbibike, at may mga latagan (various secondhand items).

Sana mas marami pang ganitong proyekto, maayos, matibay, transparent, at pangmatagalan kaya dapat tama na sa 2028!

Marikina is still one of the most bike-friendly cities in Metro Manila. Ngayon ko lang ulit naikot ang connected bike lanes, at ang ganda ng improvement. Well-maintained na sila at halos wala nang mga nakaparadang sasakyan, unlike before. Sana tuloy-tuloy ang ganitong disiplina at maintenance para mas ligtas at mas ma-engganyo pang magbisikleta ang mas maraming tao. ✨️🚲☕️ by @padyak.exploration
