north carolina in the fall 🪵🍄🐈‍⬛🧶🧺| hi guys <3 went to nc for the weekend and caught so many pretty moments. october has started beautifully and i could not be more grateful <3

if i could place how summer makes me feel in a martini glass and devour it, i would 🫁🦢🪽

some bits and pieces of what this season has brought to my doorstep <33 i always find myself feeling so obligated to come on here with a philosophical think piece about my current reads and spew update after update—when in reality (while still occasionally sharing with you all what i’m reading and up to) it isn’t always required for connection yk? i’m just here and alive and trying and that really is all that i have for u all at the moment lol <<333 by @pagesfromlexi

state hoppin ⭐️⭐️

hiii <3 state hopping on the west coast for a week was exactly what my soul needed. although the times had my attention wrapt, i still found some time to keep the reader alive <3 here’s some updates:

⭑.ᐟ book lovers by em hen - slowly making my way through her
⭑.ᐟ obsidian by k.f. rene - was told this was just like a dark version of cruel prince so i RAN
⭑.ᐟ black girls must be magic by jayne allen - adored the first one so finally getting to the 2nd in this series
⭑.ᐟ now back to you - br with kayyyyy <3 (finally, this never happens)

summer so far <333
omg hi, i’ve been a little preoccupied with a really serious matter (the world cup) and the little reader in me is begging that i pick the tandem back up and i will grant her wishes soon! as a brasil fan i can’t speak ab it rn pls (dale colombia entonces—si no gana no se q voy hacer)

slowly crawling through book lovers still only because i refuse to listen to the audio as well, but getting there! during my discovery of a filler series i stumbled upon the north shore titans series and to all who loved heated rivalry—you will LOVE this. all of the books are so short but packed with so much tension, i have alr found myself on book 3.

i’m thinking of also resuming my bridgerton books—this weather is absolutely influencing that forsure.

received some beautiful little bracelets and a bag charm from my girl @eliaareadss and i’m in love 🪻⭐️🦢 thank u so much my girl.

so much time i’ve been spending outside (both literally and metaphorically) has been so much fun and truly just a lovely step away from the habitual school and work routines i’ve been used to. putting myself in a bubble was never what i was meant to do <3

a spring tbr ˚˖𓍢ִ໋🧚🏻₊˚ʚ 🪷 ₊˚

ahhhh finally another seasoned to be read!! this season begs me for magical realism and self discovery and potentially ripping open old wounds to properly stitch them up this time. spring is a time for bloom and rebirth—and i’ve cultivated my tbr to feel as such. here’s what i got:

⭐️ the body keeps the score
⭐️ finishing the bridgerton series (book review for book 1 coming soon)
⭐️ want - a collective telling of desires of women from everywhere with not a filter to hold them back.
⭐️ completing the tandem!
⭐️ finally getting into em hen (starting with book lovers that i thiftedfor $2!!!)
⭐️ storybook ending - a kind b&n bookseller approached me and mentioned he took notice of the books i had been eyeing and brought this one over to me, stating that he assumed i would love it. so naturally i bought it to try it out (such a humble and kind exchange btw)
⭐️ rewind it back!!-finally dredged up the courage to complete windy city (even though i don’t want to and kai and miller are in my every waking thought)

a bittersweet send off—windy city by liz tomforde

bidding my favorites of chicago heartfelt goodbye—i never want to leave. this entire series (although the timeline in which i finished was rather extensive) has warmed me in ways that leave me feeling an immense wave of gratitude. for what exactly? well, for simplicity. the magic within the mundane and comfort that transcends a feeling of familiarity, but rather engulfs you in a love that feels like homecoming🫀🎼 ⋆⭒ 🌃 ˚.⋆ 💽 ⋆ 🍰

hi guys <<33 happy april 1st & happy pink moon in libra💋💋💋 finished 2 books this month bc life is grabbing me by the hands and spinning me around, but still 2 nonetheless (qos and does it hurt—both so good).

spring is truly my favorite season and i face it with open arms every year. cannot wait to see where it takes me.

hi ⭐️ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁

had the time of our lives celebrating tam 🏹🏹 love making my girls feel loved. the festivities had tired me to my bones, as all i’ve wanted to do since is lie in bed and wither away (dramatic i know, but i truly am exhausted). i finally finished revelry by lila dawes and i am almost finished with black girls must die exhausted by jayne allen (love love love).

trying to latch on to balance and harmony while school has its claws in me so deep and work (while fun) is tiresome. not complaining as it is a privilege to be the right kind of tired and so i am <3

missing dark romance so fiercely please send over some recs <<<333
