TBR jar chooses my next read 🫙

It was time to bring my tbr jar back out to help me decide my next read. This prompt came at the perfect time because I had a handful of books that I was torn between and couldn’t decide what to read next. Thankfully the jar and my friends decided so I didn’t have to!

Thank you to everyone who voted. This has been an anticipated read for me for awhile!! 💗 by @pageswithzoie

Build a Book Nook With Me - Part 1

I’ve been wanting a book nook for awhile, so I finally treated myself with one for my birthday! I got some questions about it so I wanted to start documenting the process so others can see what it’s like.

The package didn’t provide enough details to show what you were really getting into - I had no idea that painting and so much glue would be involved. However, it did show that batteries would be involved. I don’t know why, but I was thinking it would be more like a Lego situation where things just snap together haha.

Stay tuned for part 2 and come on this journey with me! 🫶🏻 by @pageswithzoie

My first read of 2026 was a 5 star!! ⭐️

I absolutely loved this. Weir did a great job of making someone who doesn’t know all the science stuff be able to understand the important parts. I recommend going into this book blind and the audiobook is a must!! I started with the physical book & audiobook at the same time and there were parts I was glad I had the audiobook for! I’m glad I read this a few months from the movie release because now I’m so so excited to watch it 🥹 by @pageswithzoie

Merry Christmas, everyone! 🎄❤️

I hope you all got to spend time with those you love and celebrated the reason for the season. Feeling extra blessed.

I’ve got one more Christmas read I’ll be finishing up and hopefully watching some Stranger Things. 🥰 by @pageswithzoie

I’ve been a little absent from this account lately. Our family is going through a tough time and I’ve been trying to spend as much time with family as possible and be present.

Despite everything going on, I’m trying to find joy in the small things, like my cute Christmas decor, good books, snuggles with my fur baby, cozy blankets and fuzzy socks, etc.

I know the holidays are so different for each family, but make sure to take care of yourself regardless of what your situation looks like. Sending love to you this holiday season. 🫶🏻

This was the first time I’ve seen a Christmas Advent Book so I had to check it out! The concept is that you get to open one chapter a day leading up until Christmas! I’m excited to give this a read to get into the holiday spirit! 🎄❤️

Popping in with more of a life update than a bookish update, because I’ve been so busy lately. 👋🏻

But thankfully lots of fun things happening amidst the tough parts. I’ve been to 4 concerts in the past 3 weeks (all different genres) and I have another concert this weekend!! Our family has been going through it, but we got to spend some much needed quality time with family last weekend. 🫶🏻

My husband and I also celebrated 14 years together since we first started dating 🥰

I’m taking some much needed time off work the next few days, so hoping to get lots of reading and hobby time in, along with a Book Crawl this weekend!! by @pageswithzoie

The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ellie returns to her hometown to help plan an event at her parent’s inn, which happens to be located on an apple orchard. Ellie’s childhood friend, Aiden, is the son of the apple orchard owners and they don’t see eye-to-eye on the plans for the festival. The book follows their journey of planning the festival and has a ton of wholesome side characters, including two adorable dogs.

When I found out about this book and discovered there was a pug, I immediately added this to my TBR. This was a cute, quick fall read with the cutest orchard/Inn setting. I enjoyed seeing Ellie’s growth throughout the book. I wasn’t a fan of how serious topics were joked about throughout the book, but I was able to look past it - something to consider before picking this one up. I would’ve enjoyed seeing more of Ellie & Aiden’s childhood friendship.

I hope there are more books in the series because I’m rooting for all of the side characters!

Me and my sweet boy went on the cutest little picnic last weekend and it was the best day. 🥺💜

My current Fall TBR 🧡🎃🍂

I had to add The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn by @valeriegbowman to my list once I saw the pug on the cover. I’m currently reading this one and really enjoying it! I love Pumpkin and his orange jammies 🥹

I’ve also got Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice by @katie_cicatelli_writes because I couldn’t pass up this edition with the beautiful sprayed edges and it was only $5 with a purchase at Starbucks in Barnes & Noble!!

And last but not least, If It Makes You Happy by @julieoliviaauthor - This book was sold out everywhere when it first came out and I’m so happy I finally got my hands on a copy! I’ve heard it takes place during fall in the 90s and knew I couldn’t pass it up!

I also have several other books I want to get to this fall that I either don’t have a copy of yet, or haven’t decided if I want to read them during the fall or winter. I am excited for all of these fall reads!!

Have you read any of these yet? What’s on your Fall TBR? 🍁 by @pageswithzoie
