Stopped for a moment and realised how much has changed since my first performance. To my surprise, it has been just 05 months since the first time I have stepped onto the stages. I remember that I was about to throw up during the whole day. Before the performance me, @baiyun.23_58 and @michelle_andrea_bb shared a beer bottle and they patiently heard me panicking and suggested me to practice on the street. It helped. And I did it! After performing I felt I transcended to a different state. It was weird. I could not speak well and I walked for 20 minutes to the wrong direction without noticing because I was not in planet earth. I was somewhere else. I was in a natural ecstasy. It was crazy, honestly… Something that felt like a silly childhood dream is slowly getting materialised in this reality and now I feel guided in every step. Opportunities come naturally. I meet the right people. The flow feels right. Some might say something higher than us do not exist, but what I’m living now suggests me that if you pay attention, life is always trying to course correct you to your destiny, or at least to what would make you truly happy. My advice is: pay attention. Be aware. There are messages to you everywhere 👁‍🗨 by @pagoo__
OM, SWEET HOME | A STORY FROM HOME AWAY FROM HOME ॐ What if home is not a place at all? For Brazilian artist PAGOO𐡼, home is something far more elusive: a feeling, a frequency, a state of connection that exists beyond geography. Having migrated across countries, cultures, and languages, PAGOO𐡼 created “Om, Sweet Home”, a multilingual video-poem that moves between Portuguese, Spanish, and English before arriving somewhere beyond language altogether. Filmed in an open field where wind, voice, and body become collaborators, the work follows a search for belonging through friendship, grief, nature, memory, and transformation. As the poem unfolds, the familiar idea of “home” gradually dissolves. What remains is Om—a universal vibration found across spiritual traditions, symbolizing presence, connection, and unity. During Home Away From Home, the work extended beyond the screen. PAGOO’s soft voice could be heard from the moment visitors entered the building, accompanying them up the stairs and throughout the apartment. Repeating “Om, Sweet Home”, the poem became a welcoming chant, gently inviting visitors into the house, the exhibition, and into a shared reflection on belonging. In this way, the work acted almost like a blessing, holding the space together while connecting the many stories unfolding across its rooms. In PAGOO𐡼’s vision, home is not where we come from. It is what connects us. — Featured in Home Away From Home, a community exhibition by Artist Ally and Casa dels Romanins exploring migration, belonging, memory, and identity through the work of 10 artists. What does home mean when you’ve left one behind? by @pagoo__
HOME AWAY FROM HOME ✧ What does “home” mean when you’ve left one behind? For one weekend only, a private apartment in L’Hospitalet becomes a constellation of stories, memories, dreams, and migrations. Twelve artists transform its rooms into intimate worlds that explore belonging, displacement, identity, nostalgia, adaptation, and the many ways we carry home within ourselves. Presented by Artist Ally and Casa dels Romanins, Home Away From Home invites visitors to wander through installations, photographs, films, ceramics, objects, and personal narratives unfolding across a domestic space awaiting transformation. Each room offers a different answer to the same question: Where is home when home is no longer a place? Participating artists: ✧ Ana Caravaca ✧ Amelia Johannsen ✧ Chellysia Christen ✧ Ana Encabo ✧ Gebby Keny ✧ Declan McKenna ✧ Jessy Boon Cowler ✧ PAGOO ✧ Maritsa Kissamitaki ✧ Naz Baydar ✧ Mwisa Muyayalo ✧ Sasha Azar Curated by: @barleywheat & @xuliaxav Presented by: Artist Ally × Casa dels Romanins 🗓 Sunday, June 14 🕑 14:00–19:00 📍 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat Free public exhibition. “Om, Sweet Home” is a video poetry performance filmed in an open field in Celrà where wind, voice, and body operate as a single ritual. The poem unfolds as a chant—circular, multilingual, and vibrational—designed to be spoken, carried, and felt rather than read in silence. Shaped by the natural movement of the landscape, the piece explores home not as a fixed location but as a state of resonance. In the text, I move from the familiar to hospitality, to vibration and spiritual grounding, reframing belonging as something social, relational, and ultimately ontological. Just like many of my pieces, language shifts are intentional and structural: Portuguese carries intimacy and memory, Spanish brings belonging and embrace, English introduces distance and universality, and Om functions as pure sound: home as frequency rather than geography. For the video, I wanted nature to becomes a collaborator, reinforcing the poem’s meditation on cycles of life, death, grief, and rest. Our first official show of “Lʼ ANIMA”. A Luminous Exploration of Duality, Spirit, and Transformation. We are immensely grateful for the @sottobosco.art and all the organisers for the invitation. It was magical experience of interconnection between artists, viewers and residency creators. Stay tuned for the next experiences cuz we are already developing more🤍 So greatful to my collaborator and dear friend @pagoo__ for making it real ✨ Credits: Artists: PAGOO𐡼 & Maria Gurikhina @pagoo__ @art_mag_reality Animation: Beatriz Barbosa @bdef.art Research & Development: @lefreakshows @xuliaxav Concept: “L’Anima is a luminous installation using holograms and mirror illusions to animate Maria Gurikhinaʼs artwork. This installation materializes the paradox of the intangible—the spirit world, the echoes of ancestors, and the thin veil between life and de_@th. By blending technology with ancestral symbolism, LʼÀnima immerses viewers in a realm where duality manifests—between matter and spirit, physical and ethereal, visible and invisible.” by @pagoo__
Thankful for @sottobosco.art to give L’ÀNIMA a shrine to shine its light on the world. Debuting my first art installation to ever be exhibited, a collaboration with kindred spirit @art_mag_reality by @pagoo__
