Happy Mother's Day @neomeganism

How you find the patience, kindness, and deep love for our family will never not impress me. Even when you're worn down from work and life, you show up and always make sure that Ashe knows you love her. This marks your 9th Mother's Day, which feels completely surreal to type out.

Ashe could not love you more, and neither could I. You have taught me so much about parenting, life, love, and showing up everyday for those you care about. You deserve some rest, and I hope that the rest of today, and the coming days, you can truly rest and relax. Because you deserve the world, and some R&R once in awhile. by @pahaus

6 years married! 11 together! It feels like I've always known you, but you've changed since we've met. I've changed since we met! We are somehow totally different, and inconceivably, the same people than when we first started this journey. Who have grown and loved and changed and evolved alongside one another. I truly, deeply, love the person you've grown to become.

What a treat! What a privilege to be loved and to love you @neomeganism. Experiencing life with you reveals such beauty, such joy. Parenting with you, working with you, through thick and thin, you always see the best sides of everything.

We may not get to experience far away lands and beautifully new things together this year. But you make the mundane extraordinary and the extraordinary divine. I'd spend every day witnessing the world's wonders with you if I could. For now, I'll settle on taking a day off of work to play pretend and just hold your hand.

I don't post on here much, but Megan and I recently went to Berlin, and it was the best trip I could have hoped for. We saw countless works of art, ate delicious food, chose dancing at Berghain and sold out shows over sleep, experienced immaculate palace grounds, and even braved the cold, wind, and rain to walk kilometers of dark graffitied back alleys.

But the best part, as it always is when we travel, was Megan. Her cute grin as she's sitting down to a meal. Her stunned expression of amazement while reveling at beautiful new experiences. Her laugh, her voice, her sense of wonder, her kind disposition; well just about everything about her.

This year we celebrated 10 years together and 5 married. Today, she celebrates her 32nd birthday. It has felt like we've already lived multiple lifetimes together, and I would be the happiest man alive to live a thousand more with her.

She's my inspiration, my confidant, my loving wife. She's the best partner to me, and the best mother to Ashe. So here's to you little girlfriend; I'd go anywhere with you, from Berlin, to laying next you on the couch, to wherever our next adventure takes us.
