Early Morning Meets, cheering and running around fields to see our guy, watching him grow more and more each race.

This morning the kids raced at The Battle of Lexington Invitational, the last meet before State in a few weeks.

Yesterday Kannon and the XC team ran bright and early at the 2 Mile “Sock it to Cancer Grain Valley Invitational”! 🩷

We kept it secret that his fan club would all be there cheering him on. My sister drove the 2 hour trip at 6am to make it just in time. My brother and his girlfriend Tesia, my parents and Pappy.

As he came around the corner where we we stood at the front sideline, saw us all cheering him on and he TOOK off running with the biggest smile! This kid came back through right before the finish line with his fastest speed yet! His timing for the 2 mile blew us away.

These best friends are off to their first Middle School Dance tonight! 🥹💙

Tonight was extra special having these 4 best friends since Kindergarten spend their first little “double date” in our backyard.
I made them homemade chicken alfredo and brookies where they were served by all the adults outside under the shelter house. We had a blast putting it all together.
Now they are off to dance the night away!

First Cross Country Meet is in the books! 🏃🥵

SO PROUD OF OUR DUDE AND THE Lone Jack Cross Country and Track Middle School runners! They ran 1 1/2 miles in 97 degree heat!

6th Grade Middle School Orientation Night and Koltys Meet your Teacher Night!

Through all the awesome chaos of meeting new teachers, being reunited with our old ones, I got this single picture, and it makes my heart happy.

Matt and Kannon working on opening his locker, over and over again was a hoot. And of course we accidentally forgot his schedule and locker info on a table somewhere. A kind parent gave it to Rae cause they knew she keeps me in check. LOL.

We’ve been blessed in life from the very day you were born. You’ve always been the most kind, caring, intelligent, goofball that we are so lucky to call our son.

Our soon to be Pre-Teen had the BEST birthday party today with all of his best friends and family. 💙

Kannon will be 12 years old on Wednesday and we are still in denial that he is entering in the next stage of life.
