i graduated!!! journeyman here I come 👀🤓. I am so excited to advance my career in the electrical field. Accomplishing this goal is something that I have worked so hard for and I just want to say how grateful I am for my family and friends who have supported me through school and my apprenticeship. I look back to the beginning of my apprenticeship and I was terrified to be the only girl in my first year class, to be the only girl on my jobsites will all men, and to be one of the youngest electricians out in the field. Building confidence in myself and getting to learn what I am capable of as a tradesman has been one of the most beautiful things that I have gotten out of this experience. I am so glad that I chose this path for my life. I have learned how to deal with conflict and I can honestly say 90% of the men that I have worked beside have been respectful, motivating, caring and have treated me well. If you are someone looking into the trades or a girl nervous to enter a male dominated field, there is so much opportunity and I encourage you to give it a try!! You will be surprised with the things that you can accomplish, you just have to start. #womenarebadass #sparkys #plumberscrack #womeninconstruction …. oh and by the way im your girl if u need help getting started 😉 by @paigebottomly
