Guys, apparently Monday is the least productive work day of the week??? I literally could not be more opposite. Monday me and Friday me are two completely different people.
Monday really sets the tone for my entire week, so when Monday hits, I’m locked in.
I rarely miss a Monday morning workout, I try to give myself a little extra time to get out the door, and I’m tackling my hardest work early in the week while I’m still feeling refreshed from the weekend.
Because once Friday rolls around, my brain is absolutely FRIED and I’m mentally already on the weekend.
Team productive Monday or procrastinate til mid week????
Happy Friday, everyone! And stay safe from this nor’easter east coast girls!!

For my workout I did an incline walk. At least speed 3 and I’ll incline up to 12 at most if I’m feeling up to it. I like to do at least 30 minutes but lately I’m lucky if I get 20 mins in.
I followed up with a @melissawoodhealth tape- I’ve been doing these for years. At least 2x a week. Nothing gives you lean lines like her tapes I swear!!

I like to make fresh celery juice for some glowy skin. You can do just celery which has a ton of health benefits but I cannot stand the taste so I do celery, green apple, lemon and ginger. by @paigeecb

The GOOD of being a working mom 🤍
Being a working mom isn’t easy, but I think sometimes we get so caught up in talking about the challenges that we forget to appreciate the positives.
The financial freedom to give our kids experiences and opportunities, watching them build their own independence and friendships, setting an example of hard work and ambition, and appreciating the little things a bit more.
There are always days I wish I had more time, more flexibility and could be in two places at once. But I’ve learned that shifting my perspective and focusing on everything I’m grateful for makes this season of motherhood a little easier.
I don’t have to love every part of being a working mom to appreciate all the good that can come with it.

In a perfect world -the work day goes smooth, the kids behave through dinner, bath is a breeze and they’re sleeping before 830. Somehow hit the jackpot this night.
My evenings for sure don’t always look like this but when they do I’m taking full advantage.

A little back to work update!!
I’ve had a remote career for the last 7 years and starting this month it’s required that I now go to the office 3 days a week.
Looking back now- working remote could definitely make you feel like your on house arrest. Some weeks I just didn’t leave because I didn’t have anywhere to go.
So one perk of going back has been getting out of the house for a little. Some fresh air. A change of scenery.
But it does add the new challenge of new routines, getting the kids ready, rushing out of the house, and time without my babies that I know I won’t get back.
But we’re making it work for now and I’m working on building little systems that make my life easier during the week that I’ll eventually get to sharing!

Leg day workout: 🍑
Barbell Hip Thrusts — 4 × 8
Superset
DB Romanian Deadlifts — 3 × 10
Bulgarian Split Squats — 3 × 8
Superset
Reverse Lunges — 3 × 10 each
Cable Glute Kickbacks — 3 × 12each
Cable Abductions — 3x6 each
→ 10–15 min easy incline treadmill
