I’ve gone back and forth on if I wanted to share this but I found reading other’s stories is what helped me the most and realize how important it is to talk about it. Dyl and I received really exciting news in February that we were expecting, but during our second appointment we learned the devastating news that I experienced what’s called a missed miscarriage with our baby boy.

The lack of conversation and information around miscarriage is heartbreaking. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in this kind of loss, and although it is common, it does not make it any easier. My heart goes out to every woman who has silently walked this road or is walking it now.

We are so grateful for our friends and family who have shown up for us over these past few weeks. I am forever grateful for a husband who has been there for every step of this. There is no way I’d make it through all of this without him by my side💐

If you are going through this, know I am always here to talk and you are not alone. There are no words to describe grieving someone you never got to meet but it is so important to celebrate and honor their life like they deserve🤍

After 11 years of coaching and ten amazing seasons with Horizon, the time has come that I step away from being a Head Coach. This program has meant more to me than words can ever fully express

When I first started, I could have only dreamed of what this team would become and what we would achieve. Awards including 11 USA National Medals, 3 state championship titles, a state runner-up title, as well as many first place regional trophies and consecutive nationals advancements to finals. More than the trophies, I’m proud of building a program rooted in dedication, positivity, and kindness and for the strong, sweet, and hardworking athletes this program has produce🫶🏼

To my athletes - every single one of you mean so much to me. Through all the laughs, tears, intense practices and everything in between, I wouldn’t trade this time for the world. I am forever proud of each of you and always a text or call away. And no matter what, remember to always be a good human and make good decisions!!!

To all the coaches that I have had the pleasure of working with, you all mean the world to me. I wouldn’t have survived all these years without the late night discussions and countless parking lot conversations. Haley and Lace, you guys are going to continue to crushhh it and bring this program to new levels!

Stepping away is bittersweet, but don’t worry, I could never be too far :) Horizon Spiritline will always be family and the love I have for this program will last forever💛 by @paigefusco3
