Some seriously beautiful shots by @candistandphoto ❤️‍🔥

Faces of Dendê Nation & @reggaechoir our special guest @paimmarivaldo , caught right in the middle of it all, singing, drumming, dancing, exchanging, celebrating and taking over the road together.

There’s something special about seeing Carnival through someone else’s lens: the details we missed, the expressions between moments, the joy, concentration, sweat, movement & connection.

Swipe through this beautiful collection of our @nhcarnivalldn 2026 journey.

Thank you @candistandphoto for seeing us so beautifully. Axé! ❤️

🔥🥁 PURE ENERGY. ANCESTRAL DANCE. 🥁🔥

@paimmarivaldo & Lior in a powerful drumming encounter where legacy meets a new generation and the drum becomes the conversation.

Marivaldo Paim holds an important place in the history of Afro-Bahian music, as one of the pioneering musical directors shaping the language, power & evolution of samba-reggae and Afro-samba. His knowledge carries decades of rhythm, movement, resistance and ancestral memory.

And beside him, a new generation of drummers listening, responding, learning and adding their own energy to the beat., one of many school students that have been blessed under @mac_dende workshop series❤️‍🔥

This is what Dendê Nation is about: knowledge that doesn’t stand still. It travels from hand to hand, drum to drum, generation to generation

🔥 PRE-CARNIVAL NIGHT last night at @thefoxandfirkin — WHAT A VIBE! 🔥

🎶 @reggaechoir opened our night with an incredible wave of voices, energy and community, bringing Jamaican spirit into this beautiful meeting with Afro-Brazilian culture. A huge special thank you to Fola Philip, the force behind Reggae Choir and behind a collaboration that has become one of the pillars of this year’s artistic journey. ❤️💛💚

Then came the heartbeat of Dendê Nation. 🥁🔥 Our drummers, led by @mac_dende , carrying the energy we have been building throughout the season, enriched this year by the knowledge, rhythms and ancestral presence of @paimmarivaldo of @blocoileaiye , who joined us for this very special Carnival journey.

🎤 @alehsoul & @bea_shantifa_music brought their incredible voices, while our dancers filled the space with movement, colour and the characters of Dendê.

💃🏾 Our dancers @hawahsambafro @adrianooliveiradanza @marianarpinho bringing the costumes, movement and characters to life

And THE CROWD! 💛 The energy, dancing, singing and love in the room made the night what it was.

For one night, Fox & Firkin became the next chapter of what will very soon reach the streets of Notting Hill — drums, voices, dance, cultures and generations coming together.

From the venue to the road… Dendê Nation is ready for @nhcarnivalldn 2026! 🌿🔥

Wishing everyone across the Carnival community a beautiful Carnival filled with safety, respect, joy and celebration.

See you on the streets! 🥁💃🏾🎶
