Dreamhack Birmingham 26 ✨ Getting to take part in the first ever Dreamhack Bham Cosplay Competition was such a joy! It was so exciting to be part of something brand new with so many incredibly passionate people involved DH had one of the most positive backstage atmospheres I've ever experienced, made even better by getting to spend a lot of the day with these incredibly talented cosplayers between judging! You could really tell every very single one of the contestants put their heart and soul into their builds, it was an honour to share the stage 💖 I hope every single person involved is incredibly proud of themselves There were definitely some hiccups on the run up to the event, but the cosplay team worked so tirelessly on the day to give us both the cosplay zone and to make sure we all had everything we needed backstage - we were so well taken care of, thanks to the group handlers, everyone had water and chairs and knew exactly what was going on! I have so many people to thank - Firstly to the cosplay team and the judges, @kizuki.go @blinkscoscave @trine.k.n you guys worked so hard all day, and made the whole competition so smooth and fun and easy! The vibe both in pre-judging and on stage was so lovely, and it was such an honour to receive an award, thank you! My lovely handler @helloimfran , thank you for letting me boss you around and being so lovely and calming 🫶🏼 would very happily be handled by you again! And to my roommates and incidental bonus assistants, @monkeydmoth and @capcochcosplay , I love you so dearly, thank you for both dealing with stressed-mar and helping with my costume in the morning! @alovxra and @teacup.tiefling , I owe you both for a massive amount of knowledge, you guys are both so generous with your wisdom when it comes to everything sewing, and I could not have done it without you and finally @eufiemoon , my pookums, who has lovingly sat on call with me through many hours of beading, listened to me complain, pushed me to finish things, and was the reason I watched so much SLOMW during my crunch 💖 let's take ibuprofen together 📷 photos provided by @dreamhack #dreamhack #cosplay #cosplaycompetition #zeldacosplay #zelda taken in Dreamhack by @paindepeche

Immortalising the Pirate garb 🏴‍☠️🍒 Event @fanforfest I wasn't sure I was going to make Fantasy Forest this year, so the fit planning was very last minute and I ended up making a little waistcoat the night before, but I'm so pleased with how it turned out You guys know I will take any opportunity to do little pirate dress up! It's AC Black Flag Resynced Release Day!! 🏴‍☠️ 📷 @helloimfran Shot at @fanforfest and I AM SO EXCITED! It's rare I anticipate games before they release, but you guys know how much of a pirate girlie I am, so this one has been sooo long awaited! I never got the chance to play the AC games as they were coming out, and have been wanting to for years, so I could not be happier about the timing of this remaster! Thrilled I finally get to experience all the wonders of plundering, sailing, and bucaneering, in beautiful new shiny quality! How I painted my Tyranny Horns 🌷🩷 3d file on my Cults3D 🔗 in the bio ! This was such a lovely painting project, I don't get to use my airbrush nearly enough, so it was super fun to get it out! You absolutely can achieve very similar results with a brush - just be sure to work in thin layers and don't be afraid to go back and forth with the colours! Little disclaimer: I scaled up my horn file 25% - every version of the file is scaleable, but I always recommend test printing a section of it before printing both!
