Whip out those white belts and get sassy to celebrate Emo Basement Bash! This is a fun little get-together/party first and foremost, but do expect some short sets from some awesome upstate bands.
This was also heavily inspired by @emomicrowavedshark, so this is also somewhat of a party to celebrate their return.

It’s kind of like Emo Nite, but we don’t play Mr. Brightside!

This house party is pay whatever you want to. No cash, no problem! Only got two dimes and some pocket lint? I’ll take it!
Feel free to bring any kind of snacks, food, or drinks with the exception of any alcoholic beverages.

Basic event/show rules apply here. Respect the space, don’t break shit, etc. This is at someone’s home after all. I just ask that things remain chill and contained to the basement.
Most importantly… DRESS EMO!

As we get closer to the date, expect more announcements or sudden changes if they arise.

After much deliberation about whether to cancel the event in light of turmoil surrounding the Psychic Garden, as well as talks with relevant community members, we have decided to continue Roc Pride DIY, albeit with some changes.

The event will be moved to @flying_squirrel_roc tomorrow, and all proceeds (apart from gas money for our touring artists) will be donated to @mocha.roc. Holding this event is not an attempt at business as usual; rather, it’s our hope that it can offer a place to gather and remind ourselves that a truly inclusive, intersectional DIY scene is worth fighting for, while also supporting vital resources for LGBTQ people of color. Though we had a few artists drop, which is very understandable, we have agreed among those remaining that taking accountability and healing as a community will be priority number 1 at tomorrow’s fest. We hope to see you there

Our next show is a big one! Potters Field (NJ) and Expiration Date (DC) are hitting Buffalo on tour, so we're running back our summer screamo bash at wastelands! Along with them, we've got support from new Rochester screamo Painspresent, along with Buffalo's own Yousaidityourself. This is gonna be a fun one!! Smores and nature walks abound. As promised, here is the 2nd drop in preparation for the upcoming show on the 8th! Rochester’s own painspresent and their demo released earlier this year.
This is yet another mini cd run (of always) of their demo, which they recently had a full sized cd run of. I’ve been so eager to do this, and I am incredibly happy to finally have it made for them.
This time around, you can grab yourself one of these FIFTY copies I’ve made, with plenty of different design variants. I had a lot of fun making these. You’ll be able to grab yourself one at their next show on May 8th at @breakingfreeskatepark 😈
Once again, as always, huge thanks to the band for letting me do this. Love these guys 💚🩷🐇🐇
