I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… but Paint & Pause certainly hasn’t. 🎨

So here we are — all our Brightlingsea dates from now until Christmas. ✨

If you’ve been thinking about coming but haven’t quite taken the plunge, consider this your little nudge.

Come because you need a couple of hours where nobody needs anything from you.

Come because you’d like to do something creative again.

Come with a friend for a different kind of evening together.

Or come completely on your own — lots of people do, and you won’t feel like the odd one out. 🩵

There’s no expectation to be artistic and absolutely no pressure to create something “good”. We paint, chat, have a cuppa, try things out and enjoy having two hours to ourselves.

And one of my favourite things is seeing people who first arrived saying “I’m not creative” now filling their art journals at home.

October feels like a good time to start making a little more time for ourselves. It’s cooled down a lot lately. Why join us tomorrow (13th November) for some for art club? 🎨🍂🌬️

Roll on more relaxed Tuesday evenings – a couple of hours to switch off, paint, chat and just enjoy doing something for yourself. Switch off from the grind and enjoy making some art.

No experience is needed. No pressure to create anything perfect. That’s rather the point. I will guide you through and you’ll end with your first entry into your own art journal.

Paint & Pause – Mindfulness Art Club 🎨

A cosy evening of watercolour, creativity and switching off from the busy world.

No experience needed, just come along, relax, unwind and enjoy a couple of hours painting and journalling in a warm, friendly space.

What a cosy, laughter-filled evening Thursday was — brushes moving, colours flowing, and even a homemade ginger cake from one of our lovely returning guests 🍰✨

It’s such a joy seeing familiar faces and new ones all relaxing, chatting, and painting together. 💛
