Vibrant and Thankful are my current feelings. ☺️☺️

To @shaq and @dwyanewade thank you for the opportunity of a lifetime to tell my story. The game plan continues for me and a new chapter unfolds as I paint my true colors.

The entire crew was amazing from the very first email back in October. I learned a lot working with you all. Great teams are truly made of great people.

@dextondeboree calm energy made me feel very comfortable on set. @jasxnperez positive attitude and follow up. Loved each phone call. @shaunawilcox4 I knew it would be a pleasure working with you after we spoke in my room. Your intention of authenticity is unmatched. You brought life to the sets! My favorite was the paint cans on the blanket. @therealshenell meeting with you to see some locations was a great experience you made me smile each day. To the dashing director @sheldoncandis you have an amazing eye for detail. Mom loves the pictures you took! ☺️

@angiejones3004 my mom you have taught me to be authentic, resilient and loving in this chaotic world 🌎 I love you ❤️

The support I have received in the last few days has been astounding. Thank you everyone 🤗❤️

To anyone reading this remember that dreams have no limit.

Thank you @bleacherreport @obb @nbaontnt @kfirgoldberg

ATL CURRENTS at the Atlanta Art Fair 🎨✨

What a moment. Grateful to have joined @charitymadeit and @georgiachemistry for a conversation moderated by @natothompson about navigating and building a sustainable career as an independent artist.

One thing I know after 10 years on this journey: relationships are the engine. Continue creating, continue showing up, and continue building genuine connections. You never know what room your name is being mentioned in.

Thank you @atlartfair and @artfulatl for creating space for independent artists and our voices.

Visibility is powerful. Turning that visibility into sustainability is the goal. @cfgreateratlanta 🖤✨

Another moment in the journey. 🙏🏾✨ Styled by: @rversevintageatl ✨🖤

(Post 1/2) As we gear up for the wonderfulness of @atlartfair next week, we’re excited to share interviews from two of our featured artists, @paintedbyemmy and @charitymadeit.

Abstract artist Emmy Marshall @paintedbyemmy looks to connect, inspire, and build community through art. We love how artfully aligned he is with #ArtfulATL’s mission and approach.

Hear more from Emmy and Charity on Saturday, October 3 at 5:30 pm during ATL CURRENTS: An Independent Artist Spotlight, presented by the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. The panel is part of Atlanta Art Fair’s theatre programming.

And be sure to stop by Booth B13 to see (and collect!) the incredible work Emmy and Charity created for this year’s Artful ATL presentation at the fair.

Two artists. Two perspectives. One canvas. 🎨

This Saturday, Emmy Marshall x Mia Anika @mia_anika_ come together for DUETS: A Collab Exhibition, presented by the Avondale Arts Alliance.

Through color, line, movement, and abstraction, we found ourselves mapping the human experience—exploring what happens when two distinct creative languages meet, overlap, and become something entirely new.

On view September 19 – October 24 at the Avondale Arts Center.

Come see where our lines meet. ✨
