The Desert Drinks the Sky will be on exhibit at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council November-April as a part of the Greater Phoenix: Every Drop Exhibition. Watercolor, mixed media on paper 18x24, framed 22x28 The Desert Drinks the Sky feels like a mirage, a dream happening while you are awake. I love the idea of the big sky in the desert landscape, the vastness of the two is not overwhelming, it’s welcoming like a cool breeze or a tall drink of water on a hot summer day. The sky feels like water, a hope, a dream for a thirst to be quenched. Arizona has such beautiful desert views everywhere you look. We are blessed to live here and be a vital part of this ecosystem. #beautifularizona #desertlife #abstractartwork #watercolorartist #landscapepainting by @paintedmagicstudio

Join me in celebrating Freedom… 🪄Celebration🌈✨ Watercolor, mixed media on paper 18x24, framed 22x28 This piece represents celebrating your true, authentic self, your life, your friends, faith, family, anything that brings you happiness, rejoice and be glad in it. 🥰 #celebratewithlove #celebratedifferences #unity #watercolorartist #originalartforsale by @paintedmagicstudio
🪄Swallowed by Shadows✨ Watercolor on canvas 32x48 Swallowed by Shadows represents that ember of hope that shines no matter what. The shadows are there even in the light. There are dark times, negative people, bad energy that tries to take over and crush your spirit. Don’t let anyone or anything dim your light. Shine bright, and know that you are loved. #abstractartwork #letyourlightshine #hopefaithlove #watercolorpainting #shadows by @paintedmagicstudio
✨A little backstory… My top 3 favorite careers: 1. Mother 2. Artist 3. Educator I taught at the elementary level for 10+ years and loved every minute of it. Call me old fashioned, but a library is such an integral part of growing and learning. 📖 It’s also a great way to stay connected within a community. When I was little, I loved going to the library. I also loved playing with bugs, flowers, leaves and sticks (I still do). It’s always fun to pretend. This inspired me to create the Bugs & Botanicals Series where fantasy meets reality through nature. These 4 pieces of artwork are made with Acrylic paint on handmade paper. 20x24 You can visit one of my B&B pieces in person at the Georgia T. Lord Library in Goodyear now through January 20th, 2027. 🖼️ What a fun exhibition to participate in. I love the idea of children and families enjoying fine art at the community library. 📚🥰🎨 You can purchase a B&B in the 🔗 in my bio. 👆🏻 #makebelieve #artforkids #acrylicpainting #library #goodyearaz by @paintedmagicstudio
This PIECES series is special to me. After the accident and a series of unfortunate events my health became compromised. I became more fragile physically and (maybe) emotionally. In between doctor appointments, PT, surgeries, etc… I turned inward to heal and rebuild. We all have these pieces, experiences, memories, moments that shape who we are today. They don’t define us, but they are pieces of us. We are constantly rebuilding. 🖼️ Sometimes the pieces are beautiful and fit just right, other times not so much. Sometimes we layer the pieces to cover up the old ones that no longer serve us. Here are some of my pieces to share with you. I have a feeling this series will continue… for you and for me. I wish you peace, joy, health, happiness always. ❤️🙏🏼✨🧩 These pieces can be purchased through the 🔗 in my bio👆🏻 Watercolor on handmade paper, various sizes. 🎨 #rebuilding #youareloved #watercolorartist #pieces #collageonpaper by @paintedmagicstudio
🪄Orbs & Argosy Series✨ Acrylic, mixed media on handmade paper 🫟 12x16 (6) and 18x24 (4) Many people and communities interpret orbs as guardian angels, spirit guides, or manifestations of divine energy. Some spiritual interpretations suggest angels use spherical light forms as vessels for efficient travel. 🪽 ✨These paintings can be purchased through 🔗 in bio. 👆🏻 #originalartwork #abstractartforsale #collectors #acrylicpainting #orbs by @paintedmagicstudio

🪄Fever Dream✨🩸 Watercolor on canvas, 24x36 Fever Dream represents an internal heat that is boiling over. The heat may represent just that or maybe it’s a passion (or anger) for something or someone. Your blood feels like it’s boiling, pouring out, bursting. It’s happening whether you are ready for it or not and it can’t be contained. 🔥 #feverdream #bloodboiling #abstractartwork #feeltheburn #hotcold by @paintedmagicstudio
