Work in progress. Best tip here is change up your tools. Big brush, small brush, Catalyst wedge, crayons….make it fun for yourself. Take risks.

It feels soooo good to be painting! I’m using the technique from my course, “ABCs of Abstract Florals.” If I feel stuck standing in front of a blank canvas I have go-to prompts to get myself moving. Painting abstract florals is a slightly different process that painting what we see.

I love learning from other painters too. My latest obsession is Wendy Westlake’s series of courses. Just trying to figure out how to apply what she teaches and make it mine. There can be only one Wendy! Her work is so fabulous.

What if the next painter sharing a breakthrough is YOU? 🎨

One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching painters surprise themselves—trying something new, pushing through a tricky painting, and discovering possibilities they didn’t know were there.

That’s the kind of creative community I want to keep building: painters learning, experimenting, encouraging one another, and growing together.

Today is the LAST DAY to join us at launch pricing.

Get all three of my abstract floral courses for $260 (regularly $560) and become part of my private course community, where I love connecting with students, answering questions, and seeing where their paintings take them.

Bring your curiosity. Bring your brushes. Bring YOUR point of view.

Come join our community of painters—I’d love to welcome you.

There’s a LOT more happening inside these courses than painting pretty flowers. 🎨

We’re playing with color harmony and Mother Colors. Exploring value and Notan. Building stronger compositions. Practicing intuitive painting. Learning how to look at our own work when we get stuck—and finding creative prompts that can send us in completely unexpected directions. Oops. Lil typo, friends. I use a variation of the Zorn palette on some paintings in this course. Simple and appealing. You’ll love it.

And yes…we paint!

The bundle includes 8 complete painting demonstrations, ranging from representational to semi-abstract work.

But what excites me most is giving you ideas you can keep taking back to your own studio—long after you’ve finished watching the courses.

Three courses. Eight complete demonstrations. So many ways to explore.

$260 during launch week—regularly $560. Save $300!

Which of these would YOU most like to explore?

Want to make a color really POP? Sometimes the secret isn’t adding more—it’s making the colors already there work harder.

In this course preview, I’m putting color theory to work to strengthen contrast, then repeating small pops of accent color throughout the painting. That repetition helps those bold choices feel intentional and pulls the whole piece together.

It’s one of those simple ideas that can completely change how you look at a painting—and what you try next!

Ready to experiment with me?

What do YOU do when painter’s block shows up? Push through it? Walk away? Or reach for something completely unexpected?

In this peek inside ABCs of Abstract Florals, I’m encouraging you to trade pressure for discovery, intuition and PLAY.

The idea is wonderfully simple: we use the letters of the alphabet as prompts to shake up our usual habits and give us a fresh place to begin. Each letter becomes an invitation to try something different, follow your instincts and see where the painting wants to go.

Because sometimes painter’s block doesn’t mean you’re out of ideas. You may just need a new question to ask!

That’s what I love about these exercises. They give us enough direction to get moving—but plenty of freedom to surprise ourselves along the way.

What helps YOU break through painter’s block? Tell me in the comments!

Special launch pricing is open now—tap the link in my bio to explore all three courses.
