Hi! I'm Claudia, the artist behind Paintranger.

I'm a German artist creating my own art style called Candy Decay, a colorful world where sweetness meets decay.

Every painting is filled with tiny hidden details, weird characters, and little stories. My biggest inspiration comes from the contrast between joy and mortality, beauty and imperfection.

✨ My Resin Process ✨

People often ask how I get that glossy finish on my Candy Decay artworks, so I thought I'd show the entire process.

Resin is one of those things that looks simple until you actually try it. Between dust, bubbles, drips, temperature, timing and a little bit of luck, there are a lot of ways things can go wrong.

This is the workflow I currently use for my small 15 × 15 cm paintings. It starts with painter's tape and microfiber cloths and ends with staring at a covered painting for 24 hours while trying very hard not to touch it.

If you work with resin too, I'd love to hear your tips, tricks, and lessons learned the hard way.
