POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It's just an ordinary day in Salsipuedes. The birds play violins, the trees blow drones, the neighbors tune into their Buddha Machines in their backyards, others to their intercontinental radios, while our friend Pablo's open-reel tapes spin slowly as he documents the everyday life of this vast neighborhood.

Genuine altered states achieved through repetition—reminiscent of a car or bus ride, or perhaps just grooves filtered through effects pedals on Zulu Souvenir’s turntables tapes and turntables.

Primitive drum machines typing out repetitive rhythms, waves of feedback crashing thunderously, and organ speakers tuning into radio frequencies while howling notes. These are some of the elements that shape this debut EP by LOVP, a new project formed by Juan Móran (Volante Discos) and Guillermo M. Cerredo (aka GMC, Pakapi Records).

This is the second EP in the Pakapi Loops's series that continues from the double compilation.

Insect sounds, ethereal radio frequencies, shamanic instrumentation, and drones construct this psychoacoustic bridge on the path to the hill’s summit.

Uritorco by Socko Yango is the first EP in a series derived from the double compilation Pakapi Loops. This release marks the beginning of a sonic exploration that continues the legacy of the original collection.

Recorded live at Asco y Capricho, 2024.

Valeria V's 'Protección' presents itself as a sonic organism that unfolds again and again.

Simple rhythms that evolve in a variety of ways, insistent cacophonies, complexity.
