I posted in-progress shots of these socks, but I don’t think I ever shared a finished shot. These are my SHaGS (Simultaneous Heel flap and Gusset Socks) pattern, modified a bit — I used the other end of the skein for the heel turn so as to not interrupt the stripe sequence. I think these will be delightful to wear on a cold, gloomy winter day!

Another City of Pittsburgh Great Race 5K in the books! It wasn’t my fastest ever, but I’m pretty happy with my time of 24:50 and sixth place in my division. It was a beautiful morning, sunny and cool, which is why I still looked pretty fresh at the finish line. 😉

This yarn has been in my stash for several years and I recently learned some troubling things about the dyer (who I am not naming, BTW), so I won’t be buying more. But what I have will make some lovely socks for a very knitworthy recipient.

This may not look like much, but my inability to find this yarn (handspun from @fatcatknitsdyer fiber) led to a full stash clean-out and reorganization project. Now, finally, it’s being knit into a sweater!
