So… My talented friend @novanod_ had been asking me to shoot pics with him for years. Dunno why I waited, especially since I knew everything he does comes out amazing. Thankfully he brought one of his fancy-ass cameras to this year’s @batsday at @disneyland After a couple of space beers at Olga’s, I finally caved in to the peer pressure and posed for just a few 😬 Go check out his IG and give him a follow! by @pale_injun
Portland never disappoints. Always a rewarding time, visiting friends & family each visit. This particular trip was extraordinary, considering not just the fact that I got to see the city during spooky season, but also flew in exclusively to DJ the @themidnightpdx annual Halloween party all night! What do I need to tell the universe in order to travel playing vinyl for the masses more often?? Also, rest well, Juan Atkins. Heard the news while I was traveling home 🥀 He he was an immense, early musical influence for me as I followed his first electro/b-boy funk production each step of the way, thru to his pioneering Detroit techno tracks. Tracks like the one I’ve chosen from his Model 500 moniker have always resonated with me to my core. by @pale_injun
Back with another ghastly, unlikely #mashup of two spooky season classX on the decks, in prep for this Saturday’s @themidnightpdx Halloween party. This time transitioning the Ghostbusters theme by Ray Parker Jr. into all-time #Goth anthem Everyday(Is Halloween) by @weareministry ‘Who Yuh Gonna Call Every Halloween?’ 🤙🏻🎃 Do you even match phrases, bro??? What ungodly combo would you like to hear next? #VinyIDJ #djreels #BustinMakesMeFeelGood 👻💦 by @pale_injun
Testing a new DarkWave->80s pop #mashup on the decks, in prep for the @themidnightpdx Halloween party. Transitioning ‘Zombie’ by @dinasummermusic into 80s classic ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’ by Rockwell, seamlessly… ‘Zombies Watching Me’ 🧟‍♂️ Is this type of mashup/transition you’d like to hear at a club night, on Halloween or any other time of the year? #VinylDJ #djreels #DarkWave #80smusic by @pale_injun

Much love and thanks to the incredibly talented @asurgefilm for capturing the vibes at @barhenry this past Friday during my Musique Non-Stop party. Huge thanks as well to all my friends, extended family, and the wonderful people who came out and made the night even more special. You are the reason music lovers like myself get to keep doing what we love on this little rock, floating through space and time. 🖤 by @pale_injun
