As we look ahead to the new shooting season, there’s a real sense of anticipation around the estate.

The preparations are well underway, the countryside is beginning to change, and we’re looking forward to welcoming old friends and new faces back for another season of great sport, good company and plenty of time spent in the field.

Earlier this year, we were delighted to welcome @westleyrichardsandco to the estate, alongside @lukeselbychef, for a day capturing the very best of British craftsmanship and country life. From the field to our shoot lodge, it was a wonderful reminder of what makes days like these so special.

After a day’s shooting, there was time to warm up in the lodge, share stories and enjoy a few Old Fashioneds — exactly the sort of moments we’re looking forward to again as the season gets underway.

With the new season just around the corner, we can’t wait to get back out into the field.

Working alongside James Broadbent and Robert Jones, we’re looking forward to the 2026 season.

High birds over spectacular Welsh valleys, challenging drives, great company in the field and hospitality led by the Palé Hall kitchen.

Our driven days bring together exceptional sport and food, from breakfast before the first drive and elevenses in the field through to lunch after the final drive.

Set within the wild folds of the Dee Valley, our simulated days are built on ground that demands something of you steep, testing, and entirely unforgiving.
