Happy Halloween from all of us at Paleo Ridge! 🧡

🧙‍♀️ Did you know? Dogs can pick up on changes in our body language and routines, so all the excitement of Halloween, from costumes to trick-or-treaters at the door, can be a little confusing for them. Keeping things calm and offering a familiar space to relax can help your pup enjoy the evening too. 🐶

Have a fang-tastic Halloween! 🎃

River loves pumpkin. Playing with them, crunching them up and also pumpkin puree which is beneficial to dogs after cooking.
Raw pumpkin can be tricky to digest and really only used as a play toy but if you puree it, it helps so many tummy problems and full of vitamins.

Chop the gutted pumpkin into slices
Bake 180 degrees for 30-40min
Blend in food processor
2 tablespoons per dog (mix in if they don’t like the taste)
Happy Halloween 🎃

Chunks is Halloween ready with his dinner for the weekend @paleoridge 🎃 by @paleoridge

We’ve been feeding @paleoridge for almost two months now and this is what we’ve noticed:
1) No more meal time dramas; fussy dog owners will get me, but not having to sit there and fret over whether she’s getting enough nutrients into her body has been such a weight off my shoulders.

2) She’s finally gaining some weight! I want any large, young dog to be slightly lighter rather than heavier to protect those growing bones and joints from any unnecessary stress that could result in orthopaedic issues down the line, however, it is equally important that they are getting the right balanced diet into them to protect that growth too and sometimes, I worried she was a bit more bony than I’d personally feel comfortable with her being — but not anymore, now she’s doing perfect!

3) Inari has had a sensitive stomach since she was a pup so we have often added @yumove_uk digestive care to her meals, which did help but sometimes her bowel movements were still a bit softer than I wanted. Since being on raw with the YuMove supplements, she now very rarely gets any stomach upset (and if she does, it can usually be pinpointed to a treat she’s had!)

4) Inari used to get pretty itchy as a pup but now that her diet is 80% Paleo ridge, she doesn’t itch much at all! Her fur is also super soft and easy to maintain!

5) Thanks to Paleo Ridge’s extensive accreditation list, I feel much less worried about raw feeding!

So, would I recommend switching? I think if you are like me and struggling with a fussy eater and have tried everything to no avail, then 100%! You can be at ease knowing Paleo Ridge is a safe, completely balanced and easy meal option to try if you are new to raw feeding and there are so many flavour options to try which is great for fuss pots like Inari. Paleo Ridge has an amazing team that will be able to help guide you, too.
