Accoutrement according to vocab.com..

Say accoutrement with a French accent and you'll be referring to an outfit — a particularly bizarre outfit. But when we borrowed the word from France, it evolved to refer to any kind of trappings or extras, especially clothing accessories. So an accoutrement can be anything from a belt or bangles, to extra cup holders and heated bucket seats. by @paletadeagave

I hosted my 1st workshop
@ssbdfest @familygarden.ssbd
And it exceeded expectations.

I feared there would be no audience, that I would not be able to gain their attention spans, because one must doubt themselves
BUT instead I was in a beautiful space with ~20 very interested adults and 3 lovely lil girls with their guardian.

All engaging in my workshop
all present
and all participating.

The creativity, the whimsy, the silly, the joy, the creations and the results by others.. because of me.. was so inspiring. It was wild.
To see essentially nothing become something.. and that something bring a smile to someone's face. 🥹🥰
Thank you so much those of you who joined me in my workshop. It meant so much to me and will only get better and better.

3 min glimpse of some of my burn.

From being gifted a ticket.
To being the camper of all camps.
I was given multiple homes, a multitude of gifts, the bestest of connections, the warmest love, and all the hugs.
All while still being able to do me.
I filled my cup so much it was overflowing.
I was there for my people and they were there for me, and I love that.
Thank yall for committing to my bit all day & everyday.

Its me. Im 35 now.

A lil fashionably late to the end of Leo season, but hey! I needed to squeeze every last bit.

I am so proud to say I am Paulette. Its me... and that has taken 35 yrs to say out loud. I am so immensely grateful to have all these lovely cuties in my life and to the adventures had & to be had with all of them. I love you to the moon & back. You know who you are.
Chosen family is real and boy! have I chosen a damn good one.
Too many more whimsical moments and cherished memories.

@envisionfestival You inspired me in so many ways. The people, the jungle, the music, the incredible talent brought so many smiles, hugs, and connections.

My tarp neighbor, tattoo artist, incredible muralist, and now mae for life @mar.decolores_ is one of those incredible connections I was fortunate to experience. I asked for "your interpretation of the Luna Stage. It could be the stage itself, the vibes, or a moment. I trust you."

I had my most incredible and difficult moments by the Luna Stage. I ugly cried with a lovely lady about overcoming grief, I met one of my favorite artists @mralexpan , I watched my badass friend @abyfenix perform fire, I danced my lil butt off before losing my favorite pashmina, had an enlightening morning debrief with my festie bestie @iamjuliahenning , and along side the squad of the year kicked some serious VIP cabana butt. @katxcoates @asapstormborn
And so much more I'll cherish forever.

5 minute recap go.

I have always been so unapologetically myself, so unabashedly me, and so unconcerned with ridicule or judgement because "asi me hizo mi mami." And although my mother worries.. I am so grateful for who I have become & who I can be for those I love and cherish. I respect my intuition I know she holds power and guides me to the right people because the types of connections I make are powerful. I honor hardships because without them life would be too easy and wheres the character in that? Overcoming the tough times only make the beauty of life and its moments more fulfilling.
