Allah has 99 names. Each one tells us something different about who He is. Not just facts to memorise but names you can actually call on Him by. Names that tell you exactly what He can do for you in that moment.

As a revert I honestly didn’t know most of these properly. I knew Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem from Surah Al-Fatiha. A few others here and there. But sitting with all 99 properly has been something else.

So I’m going through them. Regularly. Each post will have the name, the meaning, when to call on Allah by it and a du’a you can use.

This is for me as much as it is for you. We’re learning together. 🤎

It has been a tough few weeks if I am honest. Building something from nothing is not easy and there have been a lot of obstacles with getting the ring made.

But Alhamdulillah. Allah is the best of planners. And I have full faith that this will happen. I just need to keep working on it and trust the process.

I still pray. I still love Allah. But some days it feels like something is missing anyway. It took me a while to realise it was not my faith that was the problem. It was that there was no space left in my day to actually feel anything.

Dhikr changed that for me. Not as another task on the list. As the thing that brings me back to myself when everything feels like too much.
