Giant palms = more skin which results in a longer session. He did amazing.

Especially for a first tattoo.

If your first tattoo is a palm- I won’t stop you.

If you are scared of needles- I won’t stop you.

Send over any inspiration that you have. I welcome art that is not tattoo art as well.

Your email can include:
-Tattoos shown on other parts of the body.
-Greeting cards
-Illustrations in children’s books
-Album art
-Photographs
-Prized possessions
-Anything that inspires you!

Please avoid sending AI references. AI uses stolen art and I’m unable to determine what is inspiration and what is theft when I receive a generated design. Because of that, I will be limited on how much I can use in AI design as a reference.

Other things to consider if you were feeling adventurous.
-What are your long-term plans?
Do eventually want color blended in with dot work shading?

How much time off do I need to heal a palm tattoo? What should I expect?

If you work a hands-on job, you should be fine to continue working within one to two days. The only exception is if you routinely lift heavy weight into your palms (gym weights, buckets, etc.) as the weight can impact the consistency of the blowout.

If possible, I suggest getting it done before the weekend if you have a weekend off. Gloves can protect you at work if you are exposed to water in the workplace. I encourage my clients to give their hands as much air exposure as possible for the healing process. So when you are home, please expose them to air and try not to wear gloves all the time.

The skin’s surface will close up fairly quickly but the fatty tissue can remain tender for up to several months as it heals. You will notice this if you press your index finger firmly into your palm.
