Latest instillation at the Dempster Building in SoMa SF.

This included Yakan textiles from Basilan (in the weaving style of Birey Birey/Sinaluan) and Ifugao Binobodan tapestries from Kiangan.

The top and sides of this backdrop incorporates floral aspects with traditional Pamaypay and Salakot, with reeds attributed to Walis. The banigs were from South Cotabato and Sulu Archipelago.

Had the pleasure of collaborating with @jureksu on this cultural display honoring the Maguindanaon community for @parangaldance show- Ipat Kadsakay at Blue Shield Theater!

This piece features tangible heritage and an altar highlighting spiritual practices of Maguindanao.

Super thankful to have worked on this display, and looking forward to more in the future! taken in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts by @pamanatreasures
