8th UTHealth Half Marathon: DONE. 🏅🔥

13.1 miles.
⏱️ 2:38 finish
🏃🏽‍♀️ 11:45 pace
🔒 NO QUIT.

Eight years of showing up for a race that will always mean so much to me — the race that made me fall in love with the half marathon distance in the first place. ❤️

This one was about more than a finish time. It was about everything it took to get back to that starting line, every hard day, every setback, every lesson, and every person who helped me keep moving forward.

I may be the one wearing the medal, but this journey has never been mine alone.

To my run families @houstoncolosseumrunners and @timelessrunners — thank you for the miles, the laughs, the encouragement, the accountability, the cheers, and for making this sport feel like home. Having people beside you who genuinely want to see you succeed makes every hard mile a little easier. 🫶🏽

To my running coach @runningistheway — thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and helping me trust the process even when I doubt myself.

To my personal trainer @total.estilo — thank you for helping me become stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for every mile I ask my body to give me.

And to my physical therapist @pb.recovery — thank you for helping put me back together, keeping me moving, and reminding me that recovery is part of the work too.

I truly would not be where I am at this moment without all of you. Every workout, every treatment, every word of encouragement, every mile shared, every check-in — it all matters more than you know.

It takes a village, and I’m incredibly grateful for mine. ❤️

8 UTHealth Halfs later, Pam Beezy is still showing up. Still fighting. Still growing. Still refusing to quit. 😤🔥

Another medal earned. Another 13.1 conquered.

We don’t quit when it gets hard. We LOCK IN. 🔒🏅

8 YEARS. SAME RACE. STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITE START LINES. 🥹❤️‍🔥

This weekend I’ll be lining up for the UTHealth Houston Half Marathon for my 8th year, and this race will always hold a special place in my heart.

This is more than just another 13.1 for me. This is the race that made me fall in love with the half marathon distance. The race that taught me to appreciate every mile, every challenge, every finish line, and everything that comes with showing up for 13.1.

Year after year, I keep coming back — different versions of me, different goals, different seasons of life… but the same love for this race. ❤️

And after everything these legs have been through lately, getting to stand on this start line again means just a little bit more.

Year 8.
13.1 miles.
My favorite race of all time.
And you already know…

PAM BEEZY IS COMING. 😈🔥

Time to make some more memories on these Houston streets.

UTHealth Half Marathon #8… LET’S GET IT. 🔒🔥🏃🏽‍♀️

Coach Bennett! Last night’s event in Houston was everything. 🥹 From the Q&A to the book signing, every moment was worth it. Getting those few minutes to personally connect with you and hear your thoughts made the night even more special, especially knowing those 3–5 minutes you spent with each of us were so personal and intentional.

You put so many things into perspective about running—your journey, your coaching, consistency, and the simple encouragement that can mean so much to someone.

Thank you, @haydenricca , for sharing such kind words with @coachbennett about me. What Coach told me afterward truly made my heart so happy. ❤️

He said something that really stayed with me:

“You’re changing lives.”

And then he reminded me that as a run club leader, simply encouraging people to run and get moving can have such a meaningful impact. He even said that by encouraging people to run, “you’re keeping people alive.”

That hit my heart in a completely different way. 🥹❤️ Sometimes we don’t realize how much a simple invitation to show up, take a few miles, or keep going can mean to someone. I’m so grateful that I get to create that space for others through running.

Hayden, you and the rest of the team rocked this event! Everything was so thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. Thank you for creating such a meaningful experience for all of us. ❤️And to my girl @itsleila_duh you absolutely ROCKED the Q&A! You’re a natural. 🥹 Listening to you share your journey was so inspiring. Keep shining, beautiful soul! ✨

To everyone out there who is just starting their running journey, or has been running for years, remember what Coach told me:

“Run with joy!” ❤️

And if you haven’t already, I highly encourage you to read @coachbennettsbook , This Is About Running. This Is Not About Running. 📖 As Coach B said:

“Reading will make you a better runner, and being a runner will make you a better reader.”

Keep showing up. Keep moving. Keep encouraging each other. Keep going.

And most importantly, run with joy. ✨

This past Sunday was special.
A 14-minute PR 💥 and a 2:31:57 ⏱️ finish, but more importantly, a reminder of how far I’ve come. Growth doesn’t always show up loudly — sometimes it shows up mile by mile. Grateful, proud, and motivated 🤍

Thankful for my @houstoncolosseumrunners, @timelessrunners and @urbanlocosrunners family

**New Post**

Still riding the high from Sunday 🥹✨
13.1 miles of grit, growth, and trusting the training. A 14-minute PR, and a finish time of 2:31:57. This half marathon reminded me that consistency, patience, and belief really do pay off. So proud of my body, my mind, and every early morning and tough run that got me to that start line. Every mile had a purpose, every step was earned. What an amazing half marathon ✨. Forever grateful for the love, support, and cheers along the way 🫶🏽🏃🏽‍♀️. Grateful for my running community, wouldn't be where I am at without my @houstoncolosseumrunners and @timelessrunners family 🫶🏽

A big shoutout to @anthonymphotog for taking the time to take these amazing pictures for the runners who ran the Chevron Marathon/Aramco Half Marathon 2026 👏🏽
