🏆 Honoring Legends. Celebrating Community. Preserving Legacy.

The 2nd Annual Pamela Bates Foundation Award Segment returns to the Summer Blockfest! This year, we’re proud to honor Hudson County hip-hop pioneers Down & Dirty Tribe, along with Hoboken High School Football Hall of Famer John Casella—an impactful educator who dedicated over 40 years to teaching and inspiring generations of students.

Join us as we give these hometown legends their flowers and celebrate their lasting contributions to our culture, schools, and community.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
This year’s Summer Blockfest was our biggest and most unforgettable yet. With 60 incredible vendors, 1,500+ attendees, unforgettable performances, a book bag giveaway in partnership with the Pamela Bates Foundation, and the first-ever Pamela Bates Foundation awards segment, we truly made history together.

We also proudly introduced the presidents of What Jersey City Sounds Like, their first official DJ, and for the first time ever, welcomed Jersey City to the Blockfest stage — expanding the movement and bridging even more communities through music, culture, and creativity.

To our sponsors, vendors, artists, and every single supporter — your energy, passion, and belief in this mission helped us turn a festival into a movement rooted in unity, purpose, and community.

Your presence helped shape something powerful — not just an event, but a moment that will live on.

See you next year for the 4th Annual Summer Blockfest. 🏙️🔥
