Tuesday August 20th, 2024 I lost my best bud, my hero, my distinguished, and faithful father whom I love and adore with my whole heart. I have been by my dad’s side often for the last few years as his health declined taking him to all of his medical appointments, outings, plays, drives, etc and putting his comfort and care above all others. I love this man and mostly love, and appreciate, the way he loves me. I know he is with my Bindy boy in Heaven and I know he was welcomed with open arms and shouts of Hosannah…my dad was so kind and full of gratitude to all those who served him. He always wanted to know about them and their lives… after which of course he would boast about this beautiful family he and my mom started. My dad had the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever know. I love him and find peace in knowing we will see each other again. One of the last things my dad said looking into my eyes was “I’m so sorry I won’t be here to do this for you” as I was sadly coaching him to let go of this life he had built here on earth and cross through the veil. Daddy I hope you are enjoying the beautiful colors they have in heaven that they don’t have here with your perfect eyes… I hope you are getting lots of Cara Cara oranges, Dutch butter cookies, hard boiled eggs, toasted English muffins with lots of butter, thick bacon, triple brownie shakes, Diet Coke, and halibut up there. Thank you for your wonderful example, I love you and can hardly wait to be in your arms again. Btw… I’m the little one my mom is carrying up the stairs of the plane as we left Brazil where I was born. by @pamelaneeleman

Don’t miss the Minerva Teichert Art Exhibit at the LDS Church Museum in Salt Lake. She was a phenomenal artist and lived life on the covenant path and is my sister in law Christine Neeleman’s great grandmother.
