Faith & Tommy’s August wedding at the Nixon Library was hit that perfect note for laid-back but luxe—orange blooms by the reflecting pool, amber goblets, dried citrus on every surface, chandeliers overhead, and a dance floor no one wanted to leave.

I met Sabrina & Michael for a whimsical sunset engagement session in Big Sur half a year ago. We frolicked through green fields, watched the sunset, and did not fall off any cliffs.

It was such a joy to get to know them, and I’ve been looking forward to watching them get married ever since.

To Tara and Ali, the Bel-Air Bay Club is more than just a beautiful venue overlooking the ocean in the Pacific Palisades. It’s a family legacy of struggle, hard work, and love.

It’s the place of work that sponsored Tara’s Irish grandfather to immigrate to America, along with his whole family. They lived at the club when they arrived.

And three generations later, it’s where his granddaughter married the love of her life.

Weddings days are a cross-section in the stories of our lives, stories that are inherited and yet to be told. It was an honor to be present at Tara and Ali’s Bel-Air Bay Club wedding day.
