This is a behind-the-scenes photograph taken during a break on the set of the Bollywood action-comedy Mr. Natwarlal (1979). Amitabh Bachchan batting at the crease imjad Khan (who played the main antagonist, Vikram) crouching behind the stumps as the wicket-keeper.

Location: Kashmir, India, where extensive outdoor sequences for the film were shot.

Context: The cast and crew frequently played impromptu games of cricket to pass time while camera setups and lighting were arranged between takes.

Trivia: Amitabh Bachchan shared this image on social media in September 2021, joking about the comically undersized bat compared to his height:

"Cricket on location... while the shot is getting ready... Mr Natwarlal shoot in Kashmir... I think... balla zara chhota pad gaya." by @pampally

How many people know that India once lifted the prestigious Gothia Cup after defeating Germany, France, Argentina in the semifinals, and finally overcoming Brazil 2–1 in the title clash?
This remarkable achievement is proof that India has the talent to build a world-class football team. With the right vision, long-term planning, grassroots development, and proper investment, Indian football can compete with the very best in the world.
The potential has always been there. What we need is belief—and the commitment to nurture it.
