No time like Ecuadorian time. Walking through the seemingly bustling city, people always take their time to appreciate the little things around them. You stop and say hello to an old friend, stop at the corner store to get a drink, smell the flowers in the side of the road all while all the way to meet family for dinner.

Shot with my @leicacamerausa M5 and 28mm asph elmerit paired with some trusty @ilfordphoto HP5. Developed with HC110 and scanned with a V700.

Sorry folks, but my Ecuador tour dump ain’t over yet 😎 Our third show in Ecuador took place at the one and only Bistro Yaku, a local favorite and staple of Cuenca’s music scene. We had an absolute blast. Everyone got obliterated (except me because I lost my voice 😒), but nonetheless it was such a special night for me because my nieces were finally able to see me perform live. That meant more to me than anything. ❤️

Second show in Ecuador 🇪🇨 and this one hit different.

Azogues is the city both my parents grew up in. When I lived there, I dreamed of becoming a singer. Being back a decade later for this tour was a full circle moment. I left with big dreams and came back doing what I love.

Seeing all my baby cousins I left behind all grown up made me realize that time does not wait for anyone. And coming back to Azogues made me see just how much I’ve grown myself, as a person and as an artist.

The show was a blast, and somehow what followed after was even better. My aunt gave the band their first egg cleanse 🤣 the band has officially been adopted by my family. The language was no barrier 🤭 We waited for the sun to come up before we hit the pillow. It was my favorite night for sure.
