The moment I shared about what I do at @pana_wellbeing, Nilay immediately said, “That’s so wholesome! I have something in mind. Why don’t you and I fix a day when all the senior citizens get their hair done from me.” I was genuinely touched by his thoughtfulness.

Here we are, turning that beautiful thought into action. These were for underprivileged seniors who either had never been to a salon or hadn’t in over 40 years. Watching their pure joy, their excitement, and how special they felt was heartwarming beyond words. Honestly, this wasn’t just a small gesture—it was a big one, and it made such a meaningful difference. ❤️ by @pana_wellbeing

Saturday was an incredibly emotional and humbling day. After 7 months, I finally returned to our active ageing center to meet the amazing senior citizens at @pana_wellbeing, who are such a big part of my life.

The moment I walked in, their eyes lit up, and many of them became teary-eyed. They told me how much they had prayed for my recovery, hoping I would heal and walk soon. They shared something that truly touched my heart - they had tried so hard to visit me at the hospital and even at home during my recovery. However, they couldn’t get my address or contact details. Despite their efforts, my center coordinator felt it would be best to give me space, knowing I was going through a very difficult and emotional time.

Seeing their happiness today, hearing their heartfelt words, and feeling their genuine care reminded me just how precious these bonds are. Moments like these show that when your heart is filled with kindness and you share love selflessly, good karma has a beautiful way of coming back to you. I am truly grateful for their love and blessings. 🧿 by @pana_wellbeing

PANA decided to bring a touch of warmth to the lives of lonely, abandoned seniors from our community center. Knowing many had been without new clothes for years, we organized a special day of shopping.

As the seniors wandered through the sarees, choosing fabrics and colors that spoke to them, a mix of emotions filled the air. Tears welled up in their eyes as the reality of being seen and cared for sank in. Each selection was more than a piece of clothing; it was a reminder that they mattered.

When it was time to present the gifts, the shop echoed with gratitude. The seniors, overwhelmed with joy, clutched their new clothes as if embracing a long-lost friend. Project Love and Light ✨

As we age, our bodies go through changes that can impact the way we live day to day. For seniors, one of the biggest issues can be a decline in manual dexterity. This can make simple tasks like opening a jar or buttoning a shirt much more difficult and can even lead to falls and other injuries.

In today’s class we did hand strengthening and a hand-eye coordination activity. Not only did they make a beautiful wall hanging with old bangles but also made this really cute earring in the end.
