March 25, 1986 → March 25, 2026. Hello, 40! 💃🏻

I’ve spent the last week celebrating with so many that I love, and I’ve had an absolute ball. Thank you for all the beautiful birthday wishes—near and far. I feel incredibly loved and so blessed to reach this milestone. 🥰

Yesterday, I surprised my mom & titis in one of my favorite cities during their girls trip while I was on a secret layover. I was able to show them around the vibrant city of Dublin where we ate traditional Irish food and listened to live music with lots of drinks! taken in Dublin, Ireland by @panamcas

You may recall in January one of my passengers had a critical medical emergency on a flight I was working. Yesterday, I was recognized with the Real American Hero award by American Airlines. Grateful that my crew’s medical training efforts are recognized and honored. Flight Attendants have dozens of roles on the airplane aside from making your flight enjoyable. Our initial medical and aircraft emergency training is over 6 weeks long and we have required annual follow up training. Today was an excellent day that started with my favorite pizza followed by purchasing my first home and ended with the Philly friends that I love.

It is not lost on me that I am the daughter of the strongest woman I know. Her resilience, hard work, and determination has taught me everything I ever needed to make this moment possible for myself. Life is short. Go see that show you always wanted to see! It’s been a dark couple of months for aviation globally. We’ve also suffered personal heartbreak and loss at my own company. To honor those lost, both then and now, I felt compelled to go see Come from Away, a musical I’ve heard travel the world and that I’ve always wanted to catch. I left there feeling like I had just received a much-needed bear hug.
