The Alter 🍥

The Alter is my first sculptural work and was a way for me to explore and heal my spirituality through the process of working with clay ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪

A little backstory if you’re interested:

I was raised Christian and spent most Sundays going to church, where my identity and worldview was shaped. Naturally, growing up exposed me to different and conflicting ways of life and beliefs. This caused so much resistance and dissonance in my life, but I’m on the journey of reconciling my relationship with religion & spirituality. The Alter was a way for me to reshape my beliefs, by remaking a traditionally Christian structure, in my own way. 🫶🏼 by @pandan.etc
