Such a fun showcase today! 🏰🛡️
Olivia’s homeschool hybrid program @northstaracademysouthbay has been working hard for six weeks on their first project based learning assignment, “What’s Your Code”.
They studied the Middle Ages and explored knights, chivalry, character and personal values. They thought about and discussed the principles they want to live by, thus developing their own personal code and coat of arms. Through socratic discussion they explored what it’s like to live out the values they chose, and then moved into some hands-on medieval engineering with castles and catapults. 🏰

I still have no words to describe how beautiful last night was. Or how beautiful these ladies are. I thought I was just walking in to our regular Tuesday night Bible Study but walked into an absolute magical dream surprise birthday party. Every detail was breathtaking and so very special because so much love and thought was put into every aspect of it. Everyone contributed in the most special and personal way, from Pauline coming up with the idea and executing a dream of a night, adding her beautiful table scape, specialty cocktails, and little magical touches everywhere like she always does. Jaelynn, baking my gorgeous birthday cake and cookies, Marijana with the most breathtaking flower arrangements which was mine to take home, Lindsay who found the perfect swan party favors, yes we had party favors! The sweetest Swan charcuterie made by Bianca, and the most delicious food made by Elena and Taylor and the rest of the girls.
Don’t get me started on the gifts!!! like their friendship wasn’t already at the greatest gift they give to me, they gifted me with the most thoughtful and gorgeous items.
I will never forget last night. I have so much love in my heart because of these girls and for these girls. I can truly say my life is better because of them and they are some of the greatest gifts I’ve been blessed with.

What started as a group chat suggestion to get together and watch Steel Magnolia’s after Dolly’s passing, turned into an impromptu cookbook party when I remembered I had Dolly’s cookbook, which then turned into a Dolly costume party of course! We like to go big just as Dolly did. Such a fun night honoring a true Gem! 🎀💎
Thank you Pauline for opening up your home for another one of our shenanigans, as usual the decor was beautiful and classy. Just like Dolly.

This is 5️⃣th Grade! 🩷
How are we here already!? Our baby’s last year of Elementary school. Although we started our new home-school year last week, Olivia considers today her first official 1st day of school. This year she’ll be attending a homeschool hybrid program 2 full days a week with some of her homeschool friends and today was the first day! So excited to still be her teacher 3 days a week but excited she gets this traditional classroom time too!
Wishing our girl a happy, successful, fun and blessed new school year! She says this is her last year of homeschooling but I’m secretly hoping she changes her mind. by @pandora.hall_

Our 3rd Cook Book Club dinner party was such a fun evening hosted by Marijana this time around. She is a wonderful hostess and makes everything look so beautiful. Marijana chose an Ina Garten cookbook and everything we made was so delicious. I would definitely recommend this cookbook! I made a farrow salad for the party and can’t wait to try out some more recipes from the book. Thank you again Pauline for starting this last October, already can’t wait for our next one. by @pandora.hall_
